This office recommended I have 6 cavities filled and started with 3. One cavity was really important to get fixed and was in a precarious spot between two teeth. The filling actually was put in so poorly that it blocked me from flossing between my two molars completely. When I went to have it adjusted they actually forced the floss between my teeth and two days later the filling FELL OUT. SO PAINFUL. The dentist refused to fix it for free, even though my dental insurance had covered that tooth once already that year, and therefore would not cover it a second time for the same cavity. I started going to Esthetic Dental in Charlotte, NC. They did a 3D printed filling, and recommended I only have fillings done for cavities when they are a problem, as many small cavities can be maintained and kept at a safe size with simple floride treatments.

This place was great! I’m so insecure about my teeth but they were so friendly and didn’t judge! SHAQ was amazing and so nice. He made me feel so comfortable even tho I was feeling sick !

He and his staff are efficient and very friendly but more than that they listen to the patient and they really work with them to solve issues they are having with their dental needs.

I have recommended Dr. Nagel to my best friends and to my family, and I will continue to do so.

Dr. Nagel came in and spoke to the dental hygienist about her Thanksgiving plans, checked my mouth, got up and left the room without ever speaking to me the patient! This is the second and last time I will treated with such disrespect! When I checked out things got much worse, when I questioned a bill for several hundred dollars I had received the last week. The rude receptionist scolded me and told me I had no insurance coverage, when the only reason we switched dentists was because of our insurance coverage. Apparently, even though I did have insurance coverage, they were charging me, and not filing my insurance coverage, which is fraud! The receptionist never apologized, and accused me of telling them in the past that I did not have insurance coverage, when I never said such a thing. I left without a follow-up appointment, and will now be searching for another dental practice. These staff members are so RUDE and I would NOT recommend them to anyone!!

I love this place! Even though my favorite dentist is no longer there, I still take my kids there and I still go there. They are so pleasant and caring. The only reason I give 4 stars is because, the dentist I used went into his own practice and the don't accept Medicaid.

I wish this allowed me to post pictures...Years ago when I got my braces I was missing my 2 front laterals so they pushed everything forward and filed down my fangs. I hated my smile for years and years and never did anything about it. Finally, I decided to ask my dentist about it-thinking I would need veneers- but he gave his opinion and we went with it. So simple too! I now have a full smile of teeth with no gaps. I really do like the way my teeth came out and think-hope- I can finally begin to like my smile! Thanks Doc!!! (I don’t remember his name but he is AMAZING)

I went to this place 2 years back for dental cleaning work. There was a filling done by my previous dentist in California was broken while cleaning done. I am suffering a lot for the last 3 years. After having meal, food particles stuck between those two tooth. When I called the Nurse , she asked me to keep a floss always in my pocket that will help me a lot. Not sure it's a advise from a good dental office?

Yesterday both my boys had a 3 o'clock appt. For the first time we were running late due to unforeseen circumstances. I did call prior to their appt time to let them know we were running about 10 min behind. The most incompetent office Asst told me it would be fine as long as I get there by then. With all the bus and after school traffic it was making us about 15 min behind. At 3:11 she called me and said they were gonna have to cancel our appt. I told her we were 3 min away and she said it doesn't matter. I asked her could she please take the next patient and we'll wait. She told me there were no patients after us and they close at 4. So she told me to reschedule.
A cleaning visit takes 30 min. I thought that was so unprofessional of them. I have worked at so many Drs offices and we always accommodated the patient even when it was inconvenient for us.
I am now looking for a new dentist.

when I first found this location, I had just moved to nc looking for a dentist for my kids and I. Due to the great experience and how they took great passion in calling a couple days later to check on my son after He had to have a tooth pulled meant a lot. Since then had more family and friends start using this location. I would recommend to anyone.
