Rude Receptionists Unprofessional Poor Customer Service Inappropriate Language

Rude unprofessional receptionists in Bend ALWAYS. nice Dr's and most assistants but they need front desk people who 1. Have P.R skills 2. Have manners 3. Use common sense 4. Aren't constantly SWEARING while they are so called "whispering".... nobody wants to hear that immature drama in a Dr's office! Do better Gentle dental!

Friendly Staff Great Service Highly Recommended

Fifty plus years, and I finally found a Dentist I like. Everyone at GD has always treated me respectfully, and they have gone out of their way to be accommodating. They don't give you a hard time, but instead are encouraging, and positive. I'm fortunate to have found them, and would definitely recommend them.

Great Dentist Friendly Staff Painless Procedure

Amazing that is how I have to explain this.. Dr Webster is the first dentist I have ever found that made me actually want to go back & see him again. I am definitely afraid of the dentist. I haven't seen a dentist in years mainly because I'm scared to death of needles. I never had insurance coverage & they do accept my OHP. I finally got a dentist appointment & I was scared. I went in there shaking, grabbing the chair, crying & I'm 43 years old. I have Alicia Elliot as the dentist aide or hygienist & I cannot believe how relaxed she made me feel & how much she guaranteed that I would not be in major pain. I also had Maria my second time & they were an awesome team.
The fact that I couldn't even feel the needle blew my mind. I can see it & I was scared but I didn't feel it.
It was amazing how he fixed my smile after years of not wanting to smile. I now smile & I'm happy to smile & I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. I just have to say it's amazing to find a dentist that doesn't hurt.

Poorly placed machinery Dismissive manager Concussion Post concussion syndrome

Back in April (2022), as I was standing up to leave my appointment, I stood up into a poorly placed piece of machinery and hit my head. I immediately felt very dazed and a dental assistant helped me find my way out and asked if I needed to sit down. I sat in my car for a while, feeling very out of it. Later that day I called and let them know that I got a concussion (confirmed by an urgent care) and could not return for my same-day cleaning (they don’t schedule exams and cleanings at the same time for some reason). The person put me on hold for a long time, then did not acknowledge the concussion and said she’d cancel my appointment. I will not be returning here. I hope they made changes to ensure this never happens again. I am still dealing with post concussion syndrome from this concussion 6 months later.

Edit: I stopped by today to grab X-rays and the manager said that neither the dental assistant nor the receptionist had brought this to her attention when this happened, and was overall very dismissive. I told her that I’m still in neuro PT rehab for this and she said, β€œI’m glad to see you’re feeling better,” which is probably the most insensitive thing she could have said.

Billing Issues Poor Customer Service

We were quoted for procedures and the office sent the wrong billing code to our insurance. I asked the manager to please review the bill (this was back in April) here we are the end October and still no answers. The front desk staff were super friendly but the manager was rude the last time I talked to her. Needless to say she still has not called us back about our bill. I have left 3 voicemails with cooperate and nothing back there too. Super frustrating I just want this bill figured out.

Poor Customer Service Billing Issues Collection Agency Threats Negative Impact on Credit Score

Despite repeated requests (phone, email and in person) Gentle Dental (Bend) has not provided me with a bill that reflects my insurance coverage. This has been going on for a year! They combined my account with my husbands and found it too difficult to separate the two. Furthermore, it was discovered that my husband had two accounts that were confused. Every person I dealt with, apologized and said they would get back to me. Reiteration: it has been a year. To make matters worse, a collection agency called me to say I was in arrears. This impacts my credit score. Yesterday, a different collection agency threatened my husband. They had our balances - why could we not get it from the office?!? Is it correct? Who knows? Do NOT deal with this dental practice unless you want financial nightmares.

Dental Malpractice Poor Customer Service

I had an appointment scheduled, but I cancelled it because I found out this is the dental office that pulled the wrong tooth from my sister-in-law's mouth.

Not only is that an egregious mistake to make, but they've done nothing to rectify the issue with her. She's on her own to get an implant (and actually get her wisdom tooth removed).

Impressed Pleasant Staff Quick Solution Professional

I just want to say how happy and impressed I am by The Bend Oregon staff , from the receptionist ( Samantha) my favorite! To the Doctors! ( McGovermy ) my favorite! They are so so pleasant. They are very quick to help you when your suffering and in pain! They find a solution quickly to get you out of pain. Who doesn’t want that!!! I also have found that when any scheduling has gone wrong, they find a way to fix the problem and solve it . All of them are so very professional at there jobs 😊 I want to thank all of you for everything you have done for me πŸ₯°

Friendly Staff Reasonable Cost Appreciative

I’ve been here for the past 3-4 years and have always had a great experience. Always friendly and they do their best to get me in when needed. Always get treatment at a reasonable cost and always friendly staff. I’m sure they deal with a lot nowadays and I appreciate everyone’s attitude. Thanks!
