Gentle Dental Bend

I have been going here for about a year and a half, I have been rescheduled 4 times now between Bend office and Redmond office for a very bad filling needing to be done. I just got another phone call saying the doctor left the office so there is not a doctor able to do my filling! Definitely do not recommend this place.

Every time I’ve had to chat on the phone or interact with a receptionist they have been nothing but rude. Treatment at the office is some of the worst I’ve experienced. Will not be returning.

Gentle Dental is our only local dentist for our insurance. Good luck ever getting through to them. They never answer the phone. They did some work on my husband and it went very VERY bad in just a few days. We tried to get a hold of them for three days. No answering the phone and no return calls. He had to go to Pure Care on an emergency basis. $1200 out of pocket because communication with Gentle dental is SO VERY BAD.

Beautiful new facility with great staff that came over from the previous location. Gentle Dental is my go-to teeth specialists. They care, ARE gentle and gave me an honest and thorough assessment of my teeth and gums. See you in 6 months.

In my 4 visits, Gental Dental Bend gets 5 stars from me! They have my all time favorite Dental Hygienist Alicia Elliot! She's GREAT! She's GREAT! Trust me she's GREAT! She's fast, results are awesome, and she's a pleasure to interact with! Alicia ROCKS!

Terrible service. I have had a cavity for a few weeks and they kept pushing my appointment weeks down. While I'm in extreme pain they just do not care. They do not communicate as I talked with the doctor and had to explain everything to the dumb receptionist the conversation I had with the dentist. Will never go back.

I'm always unsure when choosing a new dentist when moving to a new town. After seeing the providers my new insurance covers, I chose Gentle Dental because I liked what I read on their website and their convenient location. I've been very impressed with Gentle Dental for my son & daughter's cleaning appointments. They (hygienists and dentists) are excellent with kids, explaining everything they are going to do and letting the kids see and touch all the tools and the x-rays of their teeth, etc. They even get to pick a prize from the prize box afterwards! My kids were very comfortable during their appointments which is a huge relief and means they won't mind coming back again in 6 months. Also, for both appointments they called us back right after we checked in and sat down in the waiting room for about 30 seconds, which means they didn't overbook or get behind in the appointments that day, which I really appreciate.

Dr. Matthews showed great care and concern for me and was so caring and kind. Thank you so much for treating me like a human!!! Additionally Mindi has great interpersonal skills and uses them efficiency and effectively!! Both of these women took the time to relalty listen! Thank you so much for allowing me to feel valued and not like a piece of trash like other places I have gone. Thank you so much!

Terrible. Will never go back, have two teeth that needed crowns, the receptionist came back to the room with several pages of invoices stamped “VERIFIED” and “PAID IN FULL”. Then they call me several weeks later to needing me to come in and sign some sort of waiver, when i arrived i told them my name and my appt date, the receptionist finger pokes her keyboard for 10 minutes and says so we’re doing some extractions it looks like? I said, uhhh no a pair of crowns... then she goes on to ask me what insurance provider ill be using... i then explained that the last visit she had verified stamped invoices saying they were going to be paid in full... she gets very confused and tells me she has to go talk to her supervisor in the back room, which took her about a half hour only to come back to the desk to tell me that my dental plan “typically does not pay for crowns”. Long story short, the day of my appt arrives and i arrive at 8am just like they told me, and one of the other inept receptionists comes to the front desk to inform me that “they will not be able to perform the procedure today because i was late”. This place was great when it was smile keepers, but the “new and improved” gentle dental has not impressed me in the slightest and i will be finding a more professional dentist to hand my money to...

This dentistry is amazing! Dr. Hallie and her great staff do excellent work. They are busy for a good reason. I could have choose to go anywhere and this is a great choice for a family. I just got done 2 deep fillings with ZERO pain. They were patient and kind. I’m happy to be a client.
