The entire staff at the office is amazing. From Angie the receptionist to Dania the hygienist to the doctor. Everyone is incredibly kind, compassionate, and competent. Always a pleasant experience to visit this office.

Dana Wear is a wonderful Hygienist. We need more people like her, very caring. She has been my Hygienist and I enjoy seeing and talking her. She is definitely a keeper. Thank you for your wonderful services.

It literally had been years of not smiling and confidence completely shattered with how my teeth looked before. After they put the bridge in, I can not stop smiling and my kids are smiling from ear to ear also. To say my confidence is back is an understatement. Thank you so much to everyone there! BEWARE of this place! They will tell you need a bunch of services, which you do not need and then they over charge you for these services. I had been going to this dentist for a few years and left for various reasons (rude staff, unknowledgeable staff, wait times when you have an appointment is excessive - they are always running behind) I wanted my son to leave as weel but he like that they had evening and Saturday appointments which worked good with his work scheduled. My son continued to see this dentist but then he began to have numerous issues related to his appointments, length of time to be seen once he arrived for his appt. he was running late for one appt which he called to let them know and once he arrived he was told they did not have time to see him because he had arrived 15 minutes after his appt. time, (why did they not tell him this on the phone when he called advising he was stuck in traffic because of an accident but waited until he arrived at the office?, then their dentist left and they had to reschedule his appointment three times. During his most recent six month check up he was told his root canals had failed so he needed to have extractions done, possible implants, he needed a crown, a deep cleaning and a few other things, which did not sound right so we went to have a second and third opinion and was advised he did not need any of the services Smyrna Modern Dentistry stated he needed. Not to mention the prices they were charging for said services was excessive compared to other dentists. I called the office to ask questions but they would not talk to me but did call my son and when he asked questions they gave all sorts of reason why they thought he should have the services or maybe they would need to review his x-rays again or something to the affect. My son will not be going back to this dentist after this experience. He did give them the benefit of the doubt with the other issues however this latest issue was the last straw. How can they be trusted? When not one but two dentists advised the recommended services were not needed. WE both feel Smyrna Modern Dentistry was just looking to get money for unnecessary treatments and do not care about their patients. I am glad he was able to get other opinions before being out a lot of money.

I was having severe tooth pain from my wisdom tooth. They were able to get me in very quickly. However, the dentist wasn’t very personable. She told me I have a gum infection and didn’t mention antibiotics until I asked for them. She didn’t explain my infection or the treatment at all. The entire visit was focused on diagnosing other work I need done. I left and had to call back twice to get my antibiotics sent to the pharmacy. I called to schedule my wisdom tooth removal and I was told a price (that ended up being over double what I paid at another Smyrna oral surgeon) and told the surgeon would intubate me and put me on a ventilator for the surgery, yet no CRNA or anesthesiologist would be present. Upon speaking to several other offices, I realized IV sedation is standard practice for this procedure. I filled out a request online for someone to contact me with more information regarding the surgery and never heard back. Needless to say I went somewhere else.

Dania is awesome! Been coming here for years. A little disappointed that it's not an all services under one roof type of business anymore (i.e. children patients and child + adult ortho) but we make it work.

I have terrible dental anxiety and they try so hard to make me comfortable/ make it a good experience. I appreciate Dania and the staff at Smyrna Modern Dentistry more than they know!

How they get that many high reviews is because of 90% of the staff. The owner and main dentist is a real issue. She should just let her team deal with the patients. Just read other reviews and see that a lot of the scams were done on me. I have never paid so much to a dentist. I screwed up going here.Adding to this. Went to another dentist and looks like they may cause me a lot of money to fix their errors. Something just not right with this place.

Dania Wear is awesome! She’s very friendly, does a great job, and answers all of my questions. I highly recommend her and this practice!

Dania is great! Always making sure I am comfortable and explaining everything very thoroughly. Love this office!
