My family loves this place. From the friendly staff to the easy payment options I can’t say enough but today I’m saying this… Dr. Shoelman and Assistant Brenda and Amanda have been amazing in my recovery from a difficult wisdom tooth extraction that turned into a dry socket. She called to check on me and has squeezed me in twice to make sure I’m healing and not in pain. They have opened a new location closer to our home but my husband and I decided that we are just too happy to move from this office. Everyone from the front desk ladies, assistants, and doctors have made me feel comfortable, informed, and taken care of. Highly recommend them for your family!!

Please beware of this dentist office I had made a 2 clock appointment on Monday to have a tooth looked at that I was in sever pain with after taking me in the back they poked and prodded my tooth until it even hurt worser than before they now told me that nothing can be done at this time because the tooth was so infected so they said they would call in a prescription for pain and antibiotics it's been 3 days and still no prescription has been called in still in pain an hafto start all over again and pay for a new visit somewhere else very unprofessional dose not care about the well being of others at all so save your time and money and the pain and stay far from cedar park modern dentistry

I have been taking my family here for the last five years, and I would recommend them to a friend. I find the staff to be very pleasant. There was a moment where the front staff had a few very rude members (about a year ago), but it seems those two are no longer there. My oldest son also sees Dr. O for orthodontics and it's been as smooth as can hope for, the braces come off this Wednesday. Now, we plan to restart the process soon with our younger son under the direction of Dr. O. The dentists have never pushed unnecessary treatments, nor do they rush getting braces. One son had a small cavity on a baby tooth, and since it didn't bother my son, it was agreed we'd watch it and see if the tooth fell out before it needed attention; he lost the tooth later that year without issue. My younger son will need braces for minor straightening, it was decided it is better to complete the process later, closer to when the 12 year old molars are coming in, than to rush into it so that they can cash in the payment!

I had to go in for a deep cleaning and some fillings on my front two teeth. It was set to be a 3 hour appointment. 😬

Wendy the Hygentist was a pro at the cleaning! The pain level was minimal and she explained everything she was doing, which made the whole experience very comfortable.

Dr. Schoelman did an wonderful job with the fillings - I feel like I got a brand new smile!

I was relatively pleased with the general dentist I had, Dr. Guan. However, when they referred me to the periodontist they contract, I did not feel peace about staying with the practice. She wanted me to get close to 20 gum grafts, beginning with the less urgent/severe. She would not budge on her stance on which ones to begin with. She did not seem attentive to my apprehension. I have since consulted with and allowed another periodontist to work on my gums, and he performed five grafts, beginning with the most urgent. The procedure was difficult and recovery will be long and uncomfortable. I am so glad he did not overtreat me. It is disappointing that this practice chooses to partner with their particular periodontist because doing so cost them all my future business.

Also, their billing person is incredibly difficult to work with. Most other dentists can give you a quote right away, but this one made me wait until the next day.

Dr.Lydia does the best. She recommends exactly what is needed, the office has all updated resources to get the quick and unscathed treatment for periodontal problems. Easy to get appointments.

This is an amazing dentist office. The front desk staff is top notch and friendly. Super accommodating to fit your schedule. I wish I could remember their names. The front desk staff also has patience of Saints. A time I can recall a difficult customer came in. They were professional and tried to explain everything to the patient. I got called back before I knew the result. However, what I did witness was a calm, cool, collected staff. Dr. Schulman (I probably spelled that wrong, my bad) is awesome and her assistant Brenda are funny. They make an amazing team. Brenda will explain everything that is being done and set up. Dr. Schulman will go over what needs to happen always putting the patient first. Most of all they make sure that everything is done right the first time. I will continue to go back. Thanks for all the hard work you guys and gals do.

$400 for a subpar teeth cleaning that I think they wanted to bill the insurance company 3k for. Need I say more but I will....

Front desk not very friendly and unprofessional.

To top everything off the subpar cleaning took up 3 hrs of my day. The teeth cleaning lasted about 15 or 20 minutes. About 2.5 hrs was sitting, waiting, doing nothing.

Hey everyone, I recently visited this place for some much needed care and I have to tell you that my entire experience was AMAZING. I saw Dr. Jessica Cicone and she was fantastic. She made me feel so comfortable and addressed all my concerns. I felt that she was very honest and genuine. She made me feel like a friend and not just another patient. Highly recommend this place and especially her. This was my second experience at this place and both times, they were amazing. Thank you for caring so much. Best dental experience I've ever had!

I've had extensive work that I've needed for years and said no to 3 previous dentist for various reasons. I also struggle with severe dental anxiety. I came in one day for a tooth ache and met Dr. Guan. The treatment plan that he put together for me was massive, but not more so than with previous practices. The difference this time was quite simply Dr. Guan and his staff. His focus was on me and I immediately trusted him. One other deciding factor was that as bad as my teeth were I, for the first time, did not feel any judgement and so no shame. Those two points combined with his obvious commitment to making me happy with my smile again made the decision an easy one! It's taken me a few weeks to recognize myself when I smile, and I'm so grateful that I have regained that extra confidence that comes with beautiful teeth. I have recommended Dr. Guan and his practice, Modern Dentistry Cedar Park, several times since and will continue to in the future.
