So I'm just leaving my appointment and I have fallen in love. This place is amazing!!! The staff are a group of amazing people. They are all helpful and you can tell they love what there doing. I'm super happy to start my new relationship with them and I encourage anyone else who is looking for a dentist home most defiantly to choose Mint!!!

I had an appointment today and I really enjoyed myself. The people at the front desk were all so nice and attentive. They greet you as soon as you walk through the door. Elizabeth and Tuan took really great care of me. They provided great tips and you could tell that they have a lot of experience in the dental industry. The entire team goes out of their way to make you smile. Listen to those commercials and go in.

Mint it was great until it was not.
We all look for a dental place in a hurry mostly for pain or taking care of something that was my case. I have pain in one of my molar’s and being new to the city I led myself based on reviews. Mint on paper has great reviews and I was lure by them. My first visit was on their uptown office, their service, staff, and overall experience was 5 stars if not more. My dentist recommended me the Mockingbird Station office for a 2nd opinion. I agreed and they booked me the appointment. Until this point, the reviews lived to the experience received and I was happy. I had the appointment with the specialist, which btw was very knowledgeable and provided recommendations, so we booked an appointment for July 21st at 10AM. I decided to take off from work to make time for this appointment as I stated before I am in pain and this office do not work on weekends.
This is where things get interesting. On the day of the appointment I got a call by 830AM stating one of the machines needed for the procedure broke down and they had to cancel all their appointments, which is fine no one prepares for the unexpected. I asked whoever call me (I assume was one of the office assistants), to please look for something close around morning time as I already lost a day of work and during these times we do not have the luxury to call off from work whenever possible, the person over the phone mention in that office they did not have available schedules until August (did not say an actual date) I was like, I’m in pain can you look on nearby offices to see if they can arrange an appointment as to the moment of this review I’m still dealing with pain. Her answer was August appointments are not open yet. I asked to please look into calendar’s availability on any of their offices and to call me back with options. This conversation took place on Tuesday July 21st. The irony of this situation is that prior my appointment I was getting reminders of this appointment and disclosures if I miss my appointment there is a $50 penalty. So I asked myself… since my appointment got cancelled and I still do not have a new appointment, do I get a $50 credit?
Today July 30th I called to what it seems it’s a call center that deals with customer calls in regards of appointments and I want to speak with the office manager of this location since its been more than a week without a sign of life from this location in regards of an appointment. 1st time I called, I was told the manager was dealing with another call with another patient, I asked how long until the manager frees up and I called back and it seems the office has closed and will not be open until August 4th
Lucky me to have landed on this office, lack of empathy towards their patients, while this could be a one off situation there should be systems in place to follow up with patients that you have to cancel on them for A or B reason.

I had a wonderful experience for my first time at Mint Dentistry. Very welcoming environment! Every one was very curteous and you can tell that the staff there loves what they do. I left with all questions and concerns either resolved or with guidance on how to get it resolved. Through-out my whole experience I was comfortable and smiling. ABROADer PURPOSE
Its been a year since I went to the dentist..just because the thought of them terrifies me. I finally took that step and called Mint! I just left my 1st visit and I cant believe the customer service. I was welcomed into the office by Miss Jordan...she was very pleasant! and helping. The doctors assistant Bryan was awesome! He made me feel very comfortable in the chair and explained thoroughly each step he was doing. Can't wait for my next visit. GO MINT! HIGH RECOMMEND MINT...especially the Mockingbird location.

I wouldn't return here. I showed up early and ended up waiting a full hour before I was seen. Then they messed up my x-rays and had to do them all over again. I really did not enjoy this experience and it felt unprofessional.
Update: They told me I had 3 cavities. I went to another dentist 1 week later who said I had zero cavities. I assume this place just wanted to charge for more dental work.

My previous dentist of 15 years had to abruptly close her business, so I needed to find a new one. My wife had seen the founder on tv, so I went online to get more information. I was impressed by what I found and decided to make an appointment via a phone call rather than online as I had some questions.
From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable.
I was greeted in an very friendly manner and since I had filled out my new client papers online all I had to do was show my drivers license and had a seat. In a few minutes I was greeted by Viola, who took all my necessary x-rays. She was very pleasant and answered all my questions with complete
professionalism. Dr. Edson came in and went over the x-rays and informed of what needed to be done—
two cavities that I knew I had from my previous dentist. I also found out I need two crowns and the Dr explained exactly why they were needed as opposed to doing a filling and I understood her reasoning and readily agreed.
My teeth were then cleaned by Alysa, who was equally as pleasant and professional. After she was
done, I met with Ebony to go over the treatment plan and costs and once again was highly impressed.
I’m to return on Monday for my fillings and then schedule the remainder of my needed treatments.
I am self pay so I cannot comment on insurance
usage.
Based on my initial experience at Mint, I can
unreservedly recommend their services based on every aspect of my interactions with all involved.
