The Sugar House Dentist

My husband lost a filling around 1pm on a Saturday. Google showed they were open until 4pm! I immediately called, and they were so helpful and squeezed us in ASAP. Staff was super nice and friendly, they explained everything to us in easy-to-understand terms, from dental work to potential costs. We felt very taken care of and look forward to seeing them again. Thanks again, Juliet and Dr. Thorup!

Our family of five has been visiting the Theurer dental clinic for over 6 years now. It's almost a pleasure each visit! Dr Theruer's care is superb and he has excellent support staff, from the people in the office administration to the dental hygienists. Everyone takes excellent care of us and provides good advice from the big to the little things. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for our dental care.

It's hard to five star "Love" a dentist, but this office is great. Comfortable, very informed staff and use of the latest dental technology. I made my choice to go here off of reviews I've found online and have not been disappointed in the last almost three years. Dr. Theurer is an easy choice when recommending dentists to friends.

Dr. Thorup is friendly and always looking to help his patients. He isn’t pushy, and never tries to push products or procedures on you. The team is efficient and thorough with their cleaning. They are friendly too! A nice bonus is that they offer an in house health plan for those who do not have dental insurance. As a grad student without benefits, this is essential for me.

This was my 2nd visit. I felt like I've been coming here forever! Kate, my hygienist-yes, you get the same one each time, is fantastic, she is very friendly and I can easily carry a conversation with her, when her hands aren't in my mouth! Dr Theurer is great too! I love that he remembers me, unlike the last dentist I went to multiple times, who treated me like a 1st time patient each time. I had a cavity filled a few months ago, he personally called me later that night to make sure I was doing good. All in all, I would highly suggest them if you are looking for a new dental office.

These guys are fantastic. I haven’t taken good care of my dental hygiene and had a bit of an emergency with a tooth causing some serious pain. They got me in right away, gave me all my options, and educated me in the process. This is where my family and I plan on having our dental work moving forward. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist were 10/10, simply some great people! If more were like this maybe less people would be afraid of going to the dentist!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this office and my experience here. Dr. Theurer's team is amazing!! I really wish that every medical appointment I have could be like this. I have a huge fear of going to the dentist, like many others I'm sure! The second I walked in I felt at ease. The staff were all so genuine, kind and welcoming. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Eldridge, he was fantastic! He made sure I knew exactly what he was doing step by step while continually checking on me and making sure I was always comfortable and not in any pain. Not to mention my teeth look beautiful, I'm so happy with the results!! They were able to get me in for 3 appointments in 2 days, yesterday and today. It was unbelievable how quickly and painlessly I got all of this work done. I want to thank Stacey in the finance department, she was so sweet and was so thorough. She made sure I knew exactly what my insurance was going to take care of and exactly how much I would have to pay out of pocket, which was surprisingly a lot less than I thought it was going to be! The whole experience was really refreshing. I will be a lifetime patient and will definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family! Thank you again!!

This office is amazing. I was scared out of my wits to get the PST procedure done but Dr. Theurer & Brittany took amazing care of me! The procedure was quick and painless & I'M BACK AT WORK THE NEXT DAY!! Dr. Theurer even called me the afternoon I had my work done, just to see how I was holding up. I'm so grateful that I went to them & I would recommend them to my dearest friends and family without hesitation. They made it a good experience. Thank you Dr. Theurer & Brittany. I have been going to Dr Thuerer for a couple years now. I have never been treated nicer, felt more welcome and been more willing to go to the dentist than I have during this time. The staff is excellent, the exams are done in a way that I participate in what is happening, trust the treatment I am getting and know that he cares. I like that he tells me what needs to be done, shows me the facts, and helps me improve. Definitely the best dentist in town.

I can hardly express enough gratitude to this office. My daughter had tripped at school and hit her face so hard that it knocked one permanent tooth out and completely shifted another. I contacted Sugarhouse Dentist, and they immediately prepped a room for her in minutes and were ready for her the second we arrived. Brittany S. even came in immediately on her day off to assist.My daughter went straight back and they were able to save her tooth and place it back in and wired it to her other teeth. Now today (a Saturday evening), that wiring came a little loose. Both the dentist and Brittany S. came in yet again, on a day the dentist office is normally closed just to fix it. This is the first emergency and painful experience my child has experienced, and it was made so much easier on her by having a team that is so willing to drop their off-day plans to give their clients the best care possible.
