I hate the dentist and on my second visit I had a considerable amount of fillings done. THERE WAS NO PAIN!!! I had no anxiety during the procedure and I even enjoyed the conversation as I was being drilled. Dr. Guthrie and her crew were awesome!

My experience this morning was great. I was able to come an hour earlier than scheduled and the Crown fit perfectly. There were a lot of pictures taken but I was not told what they were going to be used for. That was a little confusing but all the staff are so friendly I just did what was asked of me.

Dr. Guthrie is the best! Great office, state of the art equipment, and incredible care. I recently had a dental emergency (well, it was to me) and she stayed very late checking everything out and making sure I had the medication, etc I needed. I've NEVER had any medical professional provide the level of care and concern as did Dr. Guthrie. Five stars aren't enough.

I avoided the dentist after my dentist since childhood retired and finally found my new dentist with the crew at James River Family Dentistry. The office is comfy and inviting. I love seeing all the people that work there. Parking is easy. And the whole team is very knowledgeable and most importantly great at what they do. My husband had fillings that were done elsewhere and annoyed him to no end and Dr.Guthrie fixed them no problem.

This place is awesome!!! Coming from someone who had a horrible experience with dentist in the past. They make you feel welcome and part of a family. They thoroughly explain everything they are doing and create a plan for your specific needs. I really enjoyed my "feared" visit. It is funny now, I am looking forward to my next one!!!

Absolutely amazing! They were very polite and caring. They worked to fit me into other appointments in the same day. They've reached out to see how I'm doing and are following up.
