I can't even list all the positive things I have to say about this this office! Everyone is so kind and knowledgable here! They run like clockwork, so we never have to wait long. The most genuine concern and professionalism that I have ever experienced in not only a health care setting...but in any setting. I speak with some authority as a health care professional myself for over two decades who has had numerous encounters with medical providers. Sure, you could get dental "work" anywhere. But why, when you can receive dental "Care"? I drove over 200 miles for my last appointment just to get the Service that Dr. Guthrie and her team provides. Highly recommended!

I went to JRD for a couple of years but have decided to try another dentist. My biggest issue was that I felt a lot of tension from the Dr and her staff whenever I had a question - border-lining on attitude. I'm not sure what that's about, but with most people I can develop a familiar relationship - not here.

I have (had? Maybe?) pretty crippling anxiety about visiting the dentist, which is a self fulfilling prophecy. After a lot of life changes, I finally decided I needed to visit the dentist, and a Google search brought me to JRFD. I told them about my anxiety, and everybody, like, from the sweet receptionist and office manager to the assistants, hygienist, and Dr. G herself, has been absolute angels. I had a lot of work to do, but it got done in two big days with a Herculean effort by Dr. G. And during not-a-global-pandemic, there's a therapy dog!
If you are anxious about the dentist, or if you have a kid who is anxious about the dentist you currently see, PLEASE just give JRFD a call. I felt like my teeth were the worst that anybody could have ever seen, and I was treated with respect and dignity from the outset. Zero nagging, zero shaming, zero judgment. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit in a couple of months.
