I had to visit these folks for an emergency dental problem. A tooth broke on me and needed a rather serious filling to save it.
All I can say is that it's fortunate I came here. Not only are the staff friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they have a down-to-earth genuineness which is refreshing and calming. This is hugely valuable in any situation but especially with dental healthcare.
Furthermore, the dentist himself is a kind and talented master of his craft. This was one of the worst dental problems I have ever had and he handled it more gently, effectively, and promptly than ANY dentist I have been to before.
I do not anticipate changing dentists any time soon, these folks know what they are about and they care about their patients.

I had terrible wisdom tooth pain one day and was in desperate need for a dentist. When I found monument family dentistry, I gave them a call and they fit me in that day. Ever since, I have gone back for several services, including a minor gum surgery, and I couldn’t be happier. I can genuinely say this has to be one of the nicest dentist offices I have ever been to. The staff truly cares about you, makes sure you’re ok, and every-time I go they remember details about my life that I have shared with them. I have felt extremely comfortable and safe here and I don’t see myself ever going to any other dentist. I wish I could remember all of their names because they deserve recognition. I would highly recommend!

BEST dentistry practice in the Richmond area! I was in sudden excruciating dental pain over the holidays and they went out of their way to schedule a time for me to come in. The staff was incredibly friendly—and I mean SINCERELY wonderful and understanding, allaying all my worries. Turns out I had to get a root canal which, let me tell you, is NOTHING like the stories I heard growing up. I mean, I wouldn’t opt into it as an activity for a Friday night, but the dentist was so experienced he probably could have done it blindfolded. It was 100% pain free ... and it was fascinating just how far modern science has come. Monument Family Dentistry machined a perfect, custom crown ON SITE from my x-ray. Literally I went home that night and after the numbness subsided, there wasn’t even lingering tenderness or pain. Like ... the problem that was causing me to pop ibuprofen like sweet tarts for weeks was just gone completely. I could swish liquids on that side of my mouth again, eat, clack my teeth, whatever. Dare I say my tooth is BETTER than it ever was before? The location is notably beautiful too. It’s so relaxing and doesn’t feel like a dentists office at ALL. It’s like ... someone’s really nice house. It feels professional but also really comfortable to be there. I watched the birds circle over monument ave. and got my tooth fixed at the same time. Nuts. Seriously—don’t think twice. Go here.

Briana at the front desk is amazing! I asked her a question about my dental insurance and she took the extra step to quickly bring up insurance plan to let me know what was covered. Thank you for making that easy!

What a great practice. Truly warm and caring group of professionals.I needed some work ASAP, and they managed to get me in, meet Dr Castellano (who was AMAZING), and get the work done the following day!! He was gentle, thorough, and reassuring. The staff helped me through all the difficulties of dealing with the insurance company, getting dental records, etc.
Highly recommend this practice.

My experience here was amazing. I'm not the type to leave reviews but when I walk into a place of business and feel like there is genuine care for the patient/customer I have to leave a review. My experience from first walking in the door throughout the whole process was spectacular. They really care here and take the time to explain every step of the way what is going on. If I could give a 10 I would. But I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.
