Terrible tooth/jaw pain increasing over a couple of days. The folks here got me an appointment within 24 hours. At the appointment, Dr. Dorfman and Jenny methodically went through all the potential causes, settled on the least invasive of checking/adjusting a crown, and proceeded to do so. Very gentle handling. I left with a primary plan, and a secondary plan. Great service!

Been coming here for at least the past 5 years and my experience is ALWAYS amazing! i initially came because all the reviews I read online were so good and they have not disappointed me :) My 3 year old just started coming this year and they so great with him as well! Need a dentist? Look no further than right here! I have been going to Abbey for the past 20 years and couldn't be more pleased! His office staff is professional, knowledgeable and extremely competent. Not only is his staff welcoming, but they are informative and highly motivated to meet my every need. They go above and beyond to please and educate so that I always leave knowing more than when I arrived!
I look forward to seeing the staff twice a year and only wish I could have my teeth cleaned more often. I love the way my teeth feel after they are polished. Each time I go, I leave having better knowledge of how to improve on my overall oral health!
My hygienist is EXCEPTIONAL. She is very thorough making sure every tooth sparkles. It is amazing how, even though I only see her twice a year, she remembers every detail of my personal life. It is as if she keeps a record of our conversations. I find this fact amazing! Now you see why I call her exceptional!
Today I went to the office to cancel my appointment that was scheduled for tomorrow. Feeling badly that I had to cancel, I wanted to actually take the time to apologize in person. As I was waiting for the staff member to re-schedule my cleaning, I was informed that there was a cancellation and an opening was available in less than five minutes to have my teeth cleaned! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
After my cleaning, I decided to have trays made so that I can whiten my teeth at home. This process was done right then and there by another team member who took the time to explain the process to me from A to Z. So in less than a week, I will return to the office, be fitted with the trays and educated on the "how to'" in teeth whitening!
Now I really do understand what is meant when the expression SERVICE with A SMILE is coined....they MUST be talking about Abbey Horwitz DDS + Associates!!

Dr. Horwitz and his assistant made special arrangements to come into the office before their normal working hours to take care my dental emergency. In any other situation, I could have waited until the office opened, but I had a flight out of the country that day and time was of the essence. They adjusted their personal time to help me. The care and customer service is superb.

I felt very safe coming in to get my cleaning. They screened me and my hygienist talked me through all the new safety steps that, we, as a team, have to go through now. The Art of Dentistry team is so friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I recently moved to NY, so I unfortunately had to get a new dentist, as it was not reasonable to drive 8 hours for an appointment. My new dentist was so pleased to see how detailed my history was at The Art of Dentistry and to see the amazing service they've provided me over the past several years. I don't know anybody that ^ "Loves" going to the dentist, but I must say the staff made my few visits thus far very pleasurable. All the staff that I encountered is very professional, friendly, and helpful! Dr. Horwitz is super knowlegable and thorough with your plan of treatment. I live 30 minutes away and do not mind the drive at all. As long as I reside in Hampton Roads, I will be seeing Dr. Horwitz :)
