Fairbanks Family Dental Care

My experience today with Dr. Todd, Hunter and Tiff, literally changed the way I feel about Dentists! Admittedly I have not been to the dentist in over 10 years before today, but I left there today looking forward to my next visit. Awesome, Awesome! I cannot say enough about the team, their patience and dedication!

Very clean facility, great staff, everyone is very helpful and cheerful. Amanda is a very knowledgeable hygienist with an awesome personality. Dr. Roxanna is very friendly and straight forward which is what I like. Thank you for taking care of my teeth!

I really enjoyed my visit! All of the staff was incredibly nice and supportive. They made it a very comfortable experience for me. I have been to a few dental offices in Fairbanks, and Fairbanks Family Dental Care is definitely my favorite.

Fantastic staff! Excellent service. Went in for an emergency tooth extraction while on vacation. They got us in the very next day. Dr Todd and Rachel were fantastic! Thanks so much!

Dr. Nikki is amazing with kids. My son is very nervous at the dentist & she took her time to connect with him and make him comfortable. I highly recommend working with her. She goes above and beyond.

I’ve been going to Fairbanks Family Dental for several years and have been so happy with the dental care I’ve received. From cleanings, to crowns, to TMJ therapy and more, there isn’t another dentist I trust more with my teeth 🦷 than Dr. Haskins and his team! They make patient education a top priority to ensure that that patient gets to make the best choice for them. As a side note, the front desk team is AMAZING! Robert and Audrey are friendly, efficient and make it so that I don’t have to stress about my insurance!

I was extremely disappointed with the service provided at Fairbanks Family Dentist. My wife and I both scheduled appointments 6 months out. We were told that the new patient visit was 1.5 hours and my wife confirmed that there was a cleaning involved in the visit. Upon my arrival the dental hygienist said I was only scheduled for 1 hour and had to rush to get the necessities accomplished. There was no cleaning guaranteed on the fist visit, the office expects you to come back a second time for a cleaning.
My wife's appointment was rescheduled one week before her visit, from the office mis scheduling. This effects time taken off work and loss of PTO for a visit that has now been changed from the dentist side of things.
None the less, my visit was so terrible that I instantly pulled my dental records from them, which was a waste of my yearly dental insurance visit just for oral images to be obtained. No cleaning was performed.
To top it all off pre visit they try to run your insurance information. It took me two hours of arguing, and teaching the billing person how to run my dental insurance when they had the information right in front of their face. I directed them multiple times on how to do so, but they refused to listen to a customer.
Don't waste your time or money on this dentist.

This Dentist is the BEST!! I always feel at ease when I go into their office cause they make you feel at home I appreciate this cause I’ve always had a hard time with my old Dentist THANK YOU GUYS!!! And there efficient w every procedure!!

The front office staff is incompetent and difficult to work with. I contacted my insurance to verify the amount I would owe and it was almost $200 less than what they were quoting me. I contacted the office and spoke with Robert and Audrey. They both kept changing their story on why I was being overcharged, their computer system, etc. Robert told me he would look into it and get back to me, never heard back so 3 weeks later I went into my appointment. They demanded I give them the higher amount and I was refused service. They wanted me to hand over the money and told me I would be reimbursed. I wasn’t confident I would ever see it again, so I left. I asked that Dr. Haskins call me, but I have yet to receive a call. I have been going to this office for almost 20 years, but I will be looking for a new dentist.

11/14/22- updated: I finally committed to a night guard scan! Priscilla was fantastic! She gave clear instructions, was gentle, and made sure I was comfortable. She also warned me about some sensitivity I might experience due to air. Still rate them a 5/5, nothing but great experiences here!

I had my 6 month cleaning with Tiff today and it was fantastic! She is so thorough but gentle, which is hard to find in the dental field. You can tell she really takes pride in her work and treats her patients like family! Both her and Dr. Todd stated “how cute” my extra wisdom tooth was before it got an eviction notice. Thank you everyone at FFDC for always treating my family and I with love and compassion! You can’t find a better dental office in Fairbanks!
