Huge mistake going there. The girl at counter was nice. The girl that did my x rays was nice and the dentist assistant was nice. The dentist is awful. She seemed annoyed I was there. She didn’t introduce herself or say hi. She said a few things and left. Then they said they’d go over my plan, but couldn’t because the didn’t contact my insurance company even tho I had to give everything to them in advance. So they wouldn’t tell me anything about anything and said they’d call me and have me come back in to go over what I needed. I was trying something new to be in network and I’ll stay where I was and pay the difference.

I went and was told, and priced for 11 fillings which seemed way off to me. They had also thrown in extra charges for things that were NOT needed, that raised red flags to me. I went to a better dentist for a second opinion, got another exam, and was told I needed only THREE. So does this place just lie in order to gain more money? I wasn't happy with the dentist herself as well. She was rude, and barely said two words to me. She couldn't even "bother" coming into the back waiting room to answer one of my concerns I had. She instead had the office manager come in. This place is unprofessional, and clearly money hungry. For a dentist to perform a full exam without muttering a word to you is a bit odd. Do not recommend this place to anyone! Went twice and will never be back. Much better places in the area, that's for sure!

Everything seemed sales pitched and very awkward. I went in for what I was expecting to be a simple cleaning. But was brought back for X-rays and then sat down in a room and waited for the hygienist, where she examined me and told me what kind of care I'm going to need overall, which was great to know but I was still thinking I was getting a cleaning. She then told me we wouldn't have time to do my cleaning!? She then left and told me the doctor will be in soon to talk to me. After an HOUR the doctor finally came in and went over more in detail all of the things I would need to get done...still hoping to have a SIMPLE CLEANING...I eventually asked the doctor what exactly is happening today and she said "we're just planning". I was irritated at that point and just wanted my cleaning....so after the doctor left I was directed to the office manager to go over pricing.. (Still no cleaning...) the manager showed me what would end up being over a $10,000 plan for everything!? And worst part, my appointment was set up as a simple cleaning and when I asked if I could just get a cleaning they said NO! if you don't do they're gum therapy thing they won't do any cleanings!! I felt scammed and feel that I completely wasted 3 hours of my life for nothing. Any dental facility that refuses a simple cleaning is way to sketchy to me.

I took my elderly mother for a denture consult and everyone there from the receptionist to the tech and dentist were wonderful. Mom has mobility issues and they were very patient and helpful with her. The dentist was very nice and professional. I would recommend Aspen Dental, East Peoria for your family dental needs.

Very pleasant experience! The staff are courteous and create a comfortable environment. I've dreaded dental visits in the past but have a different outlook due to the atmosphere within the Aspen office!

I would rate zero stars if Google would let me. Went here twice, one for an exam then had to come back to have a wisdom tooth extracted even though I called and was I terrible pain from my wisdom tooth. When I went for the first exam they made me pay in advance for my next appointment. This is the first dentist office where you have to submit payment in Full BEFORE they even book your appointment. I have insurance and they stated they verified my benefits through my insurance and what I would have to pay was close to $350. Needed it done so went ahead and paid in full in advance of my appointment even though I thought this was pretty high for one tooth being extracted with just novacane at an in network dentist. This was now 5 weeks ago that I had the extraction done. I received my explanation of benefits 3 weeks ago and it showed I was overcharged and over paid over $200!!!!! I have called the office several times and they state they are still waiting for partial payment from my insurance and even though they show an overpayment on my account for 144, which is not the full overpayment, they won't even refund this amount to me. They then tell me it could be anywhere from 6-8 weeks since the procedure for the insurance to pay everything and to not expect a refund until mid January. 8 weeks from the procedure would be 12/20. Unless you have e a ton of money to throw around or can wait 4 months the for a refund that they owe you do not visit this office. Bunch of crooks if you ask me.

Aspen Dental... Dr. Andrews in East Peoria would not listen to what I was saying. He and his staff was only interested in selling partial dentures and pulling teeth. I will never go to another Aspen Dental office under any circumstance. I have warned my family and friends and told my insurance company about the lack of treatment and the way the office tried to get me to order dentures

This office is great. Every person on staff that I came into contact with was very nice and professional. I had a wonderful consultation experience with Jen as well. She helped make it possible for me to have a nice smile again by showing me all the options I had available to me. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care.

My husband went for the first visit due to an insurance change. He has seen the dentist twice a year for 50+ years and promptly fixes any issues. Aspin told him he has 4 cavities and needs $4,000 in dental work that needs to be done. This is a scam.
