TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND RUDE MANAGER
Went for the Veterans Day special they offer. I originally was scheduled for 8am and then they called me to tell me they over booked and had to change it to 1130.
Once I got there I needed a root canal , and was told this specific office didn’t do root canals . They would just remove the tooth . The office manager Tracy was very rude, and kept telling me multiple times they volunteer her time so I should appreciate that. When I asked for corporates # she would not give it to me at first and then she finally game it to me. Tracy was very rude and not willing to help/work with me. I was told a root canal with no insurance would not cost more than a $1000 .

I am never going back. I recently moved to the area and went to Aspen Dental to get my teeth cleaned. I saw four separate people while I was there and in the end, the dentist told me I had 8 spots of decay that all needed to be fixed. The office manager sat me down to go what would be a $2,800.00 bill! I take good care of my teeth and always go to regular cleanings. This seemed crazy. I got a second opinion from my old dentist; he checked out my x-rays and he said I don't even need $3.00 worth of dental work, that Aspen pushes work people don't need and to stay away.

The East Peoria facility is by far the best dental experience I have had ever. Dr. Andrew's and his team went above and beyond their duties to take care of my issues with my two teeth. I recommend them for anyone looking for great work and excellent hospitality. I will be switching my kids to this facility and cant thank them enough.

Worst experience ever at a dentist office!! Definitely would not recommend this facility to anyone. My wife had an appointment for a new patient exam and ended up coming out of the visit in far worse condition than when she went in. The x-ray tech cut the bottom of her tongue and mouth to the point that she was bleeding and did not stop the x-rays. My wife now has to take medication for the lacerations in her mouth and wait 2 weeks for her to health before she can get the dental work she needed done completed. To top it off, Aspen tried to charge us for multiple unnecessary procedures/treatments. They also tried to charge us $135 for an electric toothbrush. This place is definitely all about the money and not about the patient's well being. Please stay away from Aspen and go see a real dentist and dental staff that has compassion for their patients.

Was there for almost 2 hours. Waited 20 minutes for appointment time. Got xrays, another 15 mins waiting in chair for tech who was with me 5 mins, then another 15 for doctor who talked mostly to his assistant then said someone else would be in to talk to me and left. Then waited again for that person. Finally left with nothing done but X-rays and list of several more appointments they wanted me to schedule. Tried one of these chain dental places. Will go try the regular dentist with his small office across street & see how that goes.

Good quick appointment. When setting follow up appointments make sure to ask for an itemized bill, so you can make sure you actually want everything listed. For instance if you don’t have insurance and don’t want to pay for the $50 fluoride treatment, you wouldn’t know about it unless you have the bill itemized.

Very friendly staff and they make you feel comfortable about all procedures the patient needs done. What I found most impressive is they know how to handle Tricare dental. It was such a relief to meet a staff who knew the insurance and didn't need an explanation of how to bill the visit.

An er tooth (broken tooth) I came 7:45 am doors were not open until 8:10. This was what I view as bait & switch. Took a mouth of X-rays than a review by hygienist. The dentist came in with mask on could not understand name. Spent 5 minutes looking pointed issues on X-ray. Dismissed me to the financial desk only to find out it would be 2600.00 to repair all of my issues. Explaining from the initial call when placing appointment “ I am disabled with NO dental insurance.” The operator told me they could take care of my tooth. Only to be told to go talk to Patient service representative by Dentist think his name was Andrews? He never took mask off it was muffled. There is no dentist name in my paperwork ? She said “ people like you might try Care Credit or Aetna Access dental plan “ Gave me a print out” She said “give us a call when you work this out” This was a horrible experience I left feeling rejected & confused. My appointment was at 8:00 am delayed because office opened late my exit time was 9:36:48.Thankful had already filled out new patient paperwork prior to appointment . Which was not even reviewed by dentist. I am a critical patient. Gave a 2 page list of medicines & health history. Why have a patient fill all of this out and than not review ? I will not say ANYTHING POSITIVE regarding Aspen Dental. I am going to locate other sites to post. New patients beware. This is why a lot of people don’t go to dentists. I was lied to when I originally made appointment that this emergency would be taken care of... it was a waste of my 19.00 & time.

Dental hygienist is great. The travelling dentist i had was great on my first visit. Dr Andrews is a bad dentist. He never got my gums numb before workinf on me. Gave me 4 full syringes of novocaine and still failed to numb my gums but he did numb my the whole side of my head. Teeth hurt for weeks after. And the fillings were way too tight .Could not even get floss between teeth after cavity repair. I have never had an issue with going to a dentist and this is the first time anyone has had am issue getting me numb. I hate writing bad reviews but i hope this saves someone else lot of pain and agony.

The front desk receptionist never greeted me. Asked for payment and told me to have a seat. The dental assistant was very kind, however the Dr. was another story. If you question anything he gets short and snippy and when I refused to sit down with the financial manager and asked the assistant to leave the Dr. came up behind me and yell "BYE" in the most obnoxious way ever. I've never felt like a Dr. has ever been so rude to me. I would NEVER send anyone to this office!
