My experience was outstanding as i had a tooth extracted today. Dr Jona did a fabulous job. Before, during ,and after it was painless. I would recomend her anytime anybody would ask me if i knew a good dentist

My son had a injury to his mouth that was severe, while I was still in the ER, Dr. Brenner called and asked if we can come right away. We got there and was taken such good care of I don't know how to thank them. Dr. Gellman was there as well to help with the situation. Both doctors were great they know what they are doing! Both Doctors are very intelligent. We had a barrage of nurses to help but I think they were there for us the parents to comfort. I just love this place that I will never go anywhere else for treatment. I am so glad I found this place about 2 years ago when I had a issue and they saw me immediately. Their service to the community and their patients is topnotch!

I made an 'emergency' appointment on Thursday morning. The first availability they had was Sat. morning at 8:45am. Ok, I'll load up on Advil for a couple days. Saturday morning came and I drove the 30 minutes to their office. I sent the text that I had arrived, as per their Covid protocol. A few minutes later, I get a phone call -- Oh, sorry the doctor didn't come in. We could fit you in at 1pm. What am I supposed to do. Sit in the parking lot for 4+ hours, when it's 90 degrees out? Drive the 30 minutes home and then back again later? No. If this is how you treat a patient who has been in pain for a few days, I wouldn't let you work on my dog's teeth!

I have been a patient at the Dental Store for 10+ years. I have been very satisfied with my experience at the Dental Store. Anna is a great hygienist. The front desk and office staff are friendly and competent.

This place is absolutely amazing. Today, I had gum surgery with the periodontist Dr. Arrieta and his team of assistants, Jennifer and Vikkie. It was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. They eased all my worries and explained everything I needed to know thoroughly. They made me feel safe, comfortable, and confident throughout the entire process. Dr Arrieta was extremely attentive to me during the entire procedure and made sure I felt no pain throughout. I was so nervous before this but the moment I walked in you could feel the cohesiveness of their team and you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. Assistants Jennifer and Vikkie went above and beyond to ease my nervousness and make sure I was as comfrortable as possible (very efficient with the suction and even holding my hand during the shots!) The front desk staff, Mary, Marilyn, and Mandy upon checking out was also very compassionate and helpful with the insurance and payment process. needless to say I will be returning to this office for all of my future dental needs and would highly recommend this office to all friends and family. Thank you to The Dental Store for making this unpleasant situation the best possible experience!

Oh man I really wish I had good things to say about this place but I don't. I went here on a friend's recommendation to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I came in for a 5 minute consult and waited almost an hour to see anyone. When I finally did see the doctor, he had some pretty concerning things to say to me. I completely understand the concept of warning patients before procedures, but this man frightened me beyond belief. My top two wisdom teeth grew in straight while my bottom two were impacted. One of my molars has a crown on the top and the doctor said he would have a tough time removing them and he would "try not to" damage my crown. Next, he pointed out that my impacted teeth were growing on the nerve. He talked about how he needs to break them open and wiggle them out, therefore he told me I needed to buy the $1,500 IV sedation. Lastly, he told me I may have permanent nerve damage from this procedure.

I went to the reception desk to talk to the office manager afterwards about pricing. The back cubicles were loud, and young girls about my age (23) were throwing things around and screaming. Wendy, whom I was speaking with, slammed the door shut as they were getting really loud. She pulled out the price sheet. I have 80% coverage with Delta Dental. She gave me the sheet and I was on my way. It was much pricier than I was expecting - more than $500 for the procedure and $1500 for IV sedation, totalling over 2 grand. This was WITH 80% coverage. Later, I get an email from the Dental Store with new rates, covered at ONLY 50%.. I called them, and they told me they had spoken with my insurance, and that was what my insurance told them was covered.

I called my insurance to check, and sure enough they told me they had no record of Dental Store calling and they promised me that my coverage is at 80%. I tried to relay this information to DS and they argued that my insurance was wrong. Oooookkkkkaayyyy. I ended up going through Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Elmhurst. Their staff was phenomenal - so kind and calming. Dr. Dohse couldn't believe the story I told him about the Dental Store. He did a X-ray on my teeth for free so he could see my bottom wisdom teeth more clearly. And on top of that, I found out that administered drugs ARE covered under my insurance, like the Dental Store tried to tell me it wasn't.

I paid $500 at Advanced and it INCLUDED: the extraction of all 4 teeth, a $175 injection called Exparel, which is a nice alternative to narcotic painkillers, AND the IV sedation. Not to mention how QUICK they were with getting my insurance prices! Corrine, the billing manager called my insurance the next day and emailed me that exact quote. She faced me all the paperwork from her conversation with my insurance company. I would have been $325 with no IV sedation. It was done in 45 minutes, I didn't feel a thing, and I was eating crunchy food a day later. And nope - no nerve damage or chipped crown.

Two of my coworkers used to go here and they both said their mouths got messed up. Avoid this place like the plague.

I used to really like the Dental Store, but after a series of different events I decided to take my business elsewhere. The last was the one that ticked me off the most.

1) Oral surgeon was only available for consultation during midday business hours, which is hard when you work the standard 8-5 job. I had to take PTO in order to make the appointment, which is non-redeemable at my work. On my lunch break they call me and leave a voicemail that the Dr cancelled the appointment. I explained how mad I was they wasted my PTO when I called them back. Then, when I took my afternoon PTO time to go see a friend, they call me again to say the appointment was back on, but I had already made other arrangements and was no where near their office at that point.

2) The hygienist I liked left the organisation. The new hygienist was my wife's hygienist and she was very nice and competent and a good conversationalist, but then the dentist I liked also left.

3) I got automated calls, texts, and phone calls to confirm my appointments. I would confirm through one of the avenues, but then I would continue to get the reminders. I don't mind a reminder or single confirmation, but I don't like getting hit from multiple angles instead of using a single preferred method of confirmation.

4) I went to continue with my regularly scheduled appointment and I once again confirmed in text, but then got a confirmation call from the office too. At the end of the call, they off-handed mentioned there would be an additional fee for scheduling during COVID. That was the nail in the coffin. I told them I would not pay for something that is not my fault and they could not bother to schedule me or the rest of my family anymore.

Instead, I just found a new dentist not taking advantage of cash scrapped people during a time of a national emergency. I'm sure no one else will protest this business just due to my comments here, but I wish their customers would speak up and tell them to stick it until they dropped the fee. It's just not right.

I have gone to the Dental Store for almost 30 years. I appreciate the way that they have always been up on the latest technology. I also like the fact that they are friendly and seem to care about me and my family. Best of all is that from the dentist to the hygienist, they seem extremely detailed oriented and put forth work they can be proud of.

Julia is a wonderful hygienist--makes deep cleaning not so bad! Been going to The Dental Store for years and could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and the great customer service. A new bonus: a real person answers the phone which is so helpful when sitting in traffic and calling to say you're running late. Thanks for that.

Very convenient and fast service. I started as a new patient and I appreciate their online check in service that voids any paperwork at office
