The staff were extremely welcoming and this was by far my best dental experience. I can not stress that enough. However, the cost that I am left to pay, even after it was sent to insurance, is much more than I envisioned, so if you are a first time-patient get ready to dig into the pocketbook. Most of the cost was related to X-rays and the initial exam. Additionally, the online web payment system is confusing. Not sure if my customer number is the acct. #, and I will probably call to sort out the questions. Overall, the experience was 5 stars, but the aftermath wasn't so great. If you aren't a fan of past dental experiences, this is a good place to go.

Dentistry at Somerset made me feel right at home right away! It's abundantly clear they have put a great deal of effort into making all the most uncomfortable parts of dental work more tolerable, and in some cases downright comfy! I was very impressed with the level of customer service and their understanding with ISU students, too. Before my appointment this morning I called in a panic because my new dental insurance hadn't been pushed through from ISU yet, but they said that happens all the time this time of year and would follow up with Delta later in the week. Leah did a great job with my teeth. Thanks, team!

I needed a new dentist in Ames and tried this one because it was in-network. Everything went well! The person who greeted me on the phone to make an appointment was pleasant and helpful, the check-in method was modified to provide social distancing, and my dental hygienist and dentist were very nice and attentive. Something particular to this office is that they ask you your preferences to personalize your experience based on things such as how much explanations about the process you want to hear, how nervous dental work makes you, and so-on. Very happy with my experience.
