I had such a wonderful first visit! Dentistry at Somerset has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff does everything they can to make you as comfortable as possible. I did all my registration paperwork online, so my check-in was quick and easy. I mentioned that I have some anxiety when it comes to dental appointments, and my hygienist made a point of asking whether I feel more at ease with a broad overview of my prognosis or a detailed conversation. Having a clearly explained, comprehensive talk about what was going on really helped put my mind at ease. It felt so good to have someone take feedback and IMMEDIATELY put it to good use! And the business team had a totally seamless workflow for my insurance, so I left the office knowing exactly what I would pay and when. I cannot recommend Dentistry at Somerset enough!!

Best dental office in Ames!! Everyone is always up beat and very cheerful and caring. I really love how I can listen to music or get a stress ball or a warm blanket while I'm getting work done. If you have had tons of dental work done all your life and your fear of dentistry and everything it entails that was me, I have had work done since I was a teenager, I’m 47 and finally found a wonderful place where you can lay back watch Netflix, have headphones on, warm blanket, and they explain everything that will be done and as u laugh at your show your teeth are being worked on and when it’s over more care and explanation of what is next and your financials are gone over with the nice gals, they will have something to work for everyone! From the office tour the gift bag and appointments I have had for sure this is a five star plus place to go for your dental care! If you go say it’s because of my awesome review I dare you to experience it!

From Natasha at the front desk providing me with a tour of the facility, to Megan, my hygenist, walking me through every step of the way, I felt SO comfortable. At no point did I feel ashamed for the nature of my teeth, I felt welcomed and like they were genuinely happy to see me. I walked away wondering why every healthcare experience isn't like this.
The amount of care, generosity, and quality they share with their customers, for the first time ever I felt comfortable and like I can return without fear or anxiety. Thank you so much for keeping the patient experience in mind for every step fo the way and for treating me like a human deserving of respect. I've already raved about you to all my friends!

Hi! "I had a great time at the Dentist in Ames" words I never thought I would say! From the moment I booked my emergency appointment with the Dentist Office in Ames I had an AMAZING Experience! They answered my questions on the phone, got me in right away through their 24 hour emergency line, and I was able to get my broken front tooth fixed right away! The best part of it all I feel was the "tour" I received at the beginning... no snobby front desk people here! They were warm and answered all my questions, took care of my insurance, and got me fixed up in about AN HOUR! I have never thought I would say "I had a great time at the Dentist in Ames" but now I did and "I had a great time at Dentistry at Somerset in Ames!"

My experience at Dentistry at Somerset was my first dental visit where I felt like the doctor, hygienist, and I were all on the same page. They made sure to tailor the appointment to me personally and take action on the parts of my dental plan that I value the most. I finally feel like I have a say in my own oral health with them. Very Professional in every aspect...from the moment I walked in I was greeted and then asked if I would like a tour of the facility. Everyone was so friendly and they took their time answering any questions I had and explaining themselves ..I never felt rushed with any of the people I was in contact with from the receptionist to the check out desk.
They also have a menu of things to help put any anxieties to ease(a weighted blanket, music, a neck roll with essential oils ,ETC) So impressed with all the effort in making my experience EXCEPTIONAL!!! ALSO I HAD A SUPER dental hygienist, Bailey..she was AMAZING!!!

Staff is very friendly and professional. This place makes me look forward to going to the dentist. They prioritize comfort and pamper you here. I have had some cosmetic work done on my teeth with a few different dentists, but Dr. Niegsch is by far the best!
