They don't tell you what THEY are going to do going forward, they actually give you options based on the exam!!! Amazing! Honesty, integrity, and a fun personality to boot. I have been going to dentists in Des Moines for over 20 years. The Dentistry at Somerset absolutely blew me away. My first experience there the receptionist gives a fabulous tour, provides options for comfort during your appointment such a towel wraps, Spotify, Netflix, and much more. The employees were all extremely friendly, and they go out of their way to make sure their patients are taken care of. 100% recommend and will most likely be switching to them permanently.

TERRIBLE experience. Extremely disrespectful.
I felt my rights as a patient were completely violated. They made me do procedures that I did not want to get done. They threatened saying: "if you don't let us measuring your gums, we cannot clean your teeth". Once the hygienist Leah was done, she said there was no time to do the cleaning, but the worse thing is that she said it was my fault because she had to bring the doctor to discuss with me about not having the gums measured. This took literally 5 min. On the contrary, she called me 15 min late for my appointment. Leah was extremely disrespectful and rude with me from the moment I said I did not want my gums measured.
Leah gave me another appointment to come back for the cleaning, however, when I called to cancel the appointment because I don't want to be treated that poorly, that appointment did not exist.
I am very disappointed with the treatment I received in this clinic. I will never go back here.

My 1-hour whitening appointment at Dentistry At Somerset went great today! I've tried over-the-counter trays, gels, etc .... with little success in the past, but was so impressed with the results from just one hour in the office, that I've already scheduled a follow up. The staff are always very professional, polite, and friendly. Dr. Krook, Marnie, and Alicia(?) did a great job explaining and then administering the teeth whitening process. A more comfortable process than I was expecting! And, the front desk staff are great, too! Thank you!
