Dr Stephanie is amazing! My 2 year old strated crying the second we got called back, but she took the time to really get her comfortable. Everything from the staff to the facility is geared towards children. I'm really glad we choose Hudsonville Pediatric Dental & Dr Stephanie.

After avoiding the dentist for years, I finally had to go in to get a painful tooth (and plenty of other issues) taken care of. From the initial visit, Dr. Schell was understanding, patient and great to work with. We laid out a plan and followed that to get my teeth back to back in shape. Dr. Schell and the staff have been amazing to work with, the procedures have been pain free and for the first time in my life I don't fear going to the dentist. I couldn't recommend him and the team at Hudsonville Dental any more!

The techs are top notch with our kids, but the general atmosphere lends that you are paying for top tier "operations". While I generally do not mind paying for good services, their billing practices leave very little to be desired, and leave a taste that they are fleecing every bit they can to "be the best".
I have been going here with 2 different employer supplied dental plans from different carriers. Anytime we have asked for prebilling estimates we get a general "this is what we charge" and a very vague "we will submit it to insurance" and false impressions that services will have a level of coverage. This has YET to be the case for us ever. Having deceptive bills appear when we are told that "it is covered" is immoral and the further we dig past the facade of the establishment, it puts a story together. That is a story of price pushing and suggesting services that are not covered or really needed to max out your insurance. I guess they need to pay for the best somehow.... really wish it was on a higher moral stance.
Again, the staff is great and I have nothing against anyone there on a personal level. The only reason we have stayed for bow is because they are great with kids. It is all in the vague billing explanations, the deceptive billing practices, and the many personal experiences where a second opinion has resulted in recommended procedures not being needed.

if you enjoy a high pressure sales pitch similar to a vacation time share condo sales pitch, then you'll love this place. they said i needed a crown (found out to be unneeded) then when i said i felt no pain and would pass on it they cold called me three times to pressure me into coming in.
plus my prior dentist charged $130 for cleaning and x ray's, these people got me for almost $400.
