Honestly, I've never gone to the dentist frequently, mostly because I was afraid of what I'd find out and I'd get that look. I've found a dentist that treat's me like family and tells me honestly and sincerely what I need to do to improve my hygiene skills and improve the health of my teeth. Also, they are up front with what needs to be done and what the cost will be. I also felt that even the front staff was interested in me and my dental needs. It was a good visit and I will be back in 6 months.

I have been a patient of Dr. Doug Arjes for the last 6 years. I have had a lot of dental work throughout my life, several crowns, fillings and root canals. Dr. Arjes is the best I've had by far, and his assistant Leah is a gem as well. He is extremely gentle and makes me feel at ease. My husband and son see him too. He is always smiley and soft spoken. I fully trust him and this practice, they have always taken good care of me and my family. I used to get nervous for dental appointments, but not since I began seeing Dr. Arjes. I highly recommend this man. He even saw me on a Saturday night when I was having tooth pain. He was happy to see me, took his time and made me feel like his biggest priority. I will not be going any place else, everyone should have the pleasure of being one of his patients!

I called Marx Family Dental for an appointment as a new patient and they had an opening that very same day! I was able to complete my new patient paperwork online, greatly reducing my wait to get in to my appointment time. My insurance company’s office was closed for a federal holiday so they were unable to confirm my benefits. Didn’t matter, they took me on in without a copay until my benefits are confirmed. Julia, my hygienist, was super thorough and caring. Dr Emily talked to me about my dental history and gave me a thorough exam. I am very pleased I found Marx Family Dental.

Paid over $11000 to get braces for my kids. My daughter’s braquet got loose the week they put it on, when we made an appointment to get it fixed and after we made the drive all the way there From Topeka I was surprised that someone would have the guts to ask for money to fix something they didn’t do right on the first place !!! And she even asked my daughter for the money. The staff are great and the DR is great but money handling by the DR ‘s wife needs ........ 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

My last hygienist suggested I use those small brushes in between my teeth to help remove plaque.
So I went to YouTube U to get some insight from gut to gum. 😁
Kinda catchy.
Mini brushes are more effective than flossing.
Still I use both.
Plus
A YouTube dentist showed how he cleans his teeth in several steps:
Brush,
Little brush
Floss
Water pik
It looked like a lot.
It took at least 20 minutes.
I got used to it.
That's working for me now.
Plus I'm able to eat more carrots, almonds and other crunchy foods to exercise the gums.
Those little brushes are the bomb!
Plus, It really helped to see a visual example.

I went there to see if they could glue back a bridge that had come out. Even before they told me that they couldn't do that, they said that they needed to do an x-ray which was really unnecessary in my opinion and had nothing to do with just seeing if the bridge could be glued back on. I then was cajoled into more x-rays, ($381 total), to scan all of my teeth. After I spent 2 hrs there, I went to the HOME DEPOT, bought some crazy glue, and put the bridge back in, and it's doing just fine and dandy. I won't go back, they're prices are too high.
