I have been going to Dr. Marx's office for several years now and I have always seen Dr. Arjes. I have had several procedures done, including having my braces done, in this office and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a dentist or orthodontist. The staff is absolutely amazing and I greatly appreciate how wonderful my visits are because of how friendly they are every time I come in.

I can't believe we kept going to this office for more than a year after our first bad experience. I just kept believing all the good reviews and thinking it would get better. It did not. We did not see Dr. Marx we saw Dr. Arjes so these reviews refer to him. He is constantly trying to sell us "improvements" on old fillings. He wants to replace a crown that is less than 6 yrs old for what seems like no good reason. He says the materials the existing crown are inferior and have the potential to cause a problem. There's no problem with the tooth, it's not leaking or cracked or anything but he wants to replace it. Everytime it seems he wants to redo work that are not posing problems. The crown isn't an isolated event. Last year I let him replace a supposed bad filling and it was the most painful dental experience I've ever had (besides getting wisdom teeth removed). Plus, Arjes' hands shake so much the whole time it makes me feel nervous. I also feel like the office staff is kind of pushy. The hygienists are great. They're the best thing about this practice.

DR. Marx's office completely overcharges for all of their procedures. A check-up and cleaning for my son and I was billed $300+ over what my insurance covered. I am sorry I didn't change dentists sooner. I have wasted enough money on this nonsense. After 10 years of my stupidity, I will not go back. They have gotten entirely too greedy. So if you choose to go, get out your pocket books, it will cost you.

TERRIBLE! I went in on an emergency my tooth had broken and was causing a ton of pain! I was thankful to get in quickly until I was bullied like many others into getting some many extra services. I did it though bc I needed it fixed. After much back and forth of what I was willing to pay and a payment arrangement set up and signed by both of us. I pay my $1400 that we both agreed on paying and two months later I'm receiving a bill for another $100, I called what was I told "oh sorry the math was done wrong?" Um no 3 different people looked at this and all agreed and signed off on the amount I was going to be charged and now you want me to pay. No ma'am! Worst customer service ever all they want is your money!!
