Bear Canyon Family Dentistry

I went to Dr.bloom to get Invisalign after my teeth shifted due to my third molars coming in. I had had braces as a teen, however the first round of orthodontics was pretty subpar. Dr.Bloom is incredibly passionate about orthodontic work. She was wonderful and thorough in explaining everything before and leading up to me getting Invisalign. I almost have never needed to ask questions because she’s always so thoroughly explained that she answers my questions before I can ask them. In addition to Dr.Bloom’s excellent bedside manner and expertise, the staff at Bear Canyon Family Dentistry are beyond phenomenal. They are alway courteous and kind when I call and come in. If you are looking for a new dentist and especially for orthodontic work I absolutely recommend them!

I am not happy with the services I keep getting here. My last cleaning 6 months ago was with a male hygienist who was not pleasant, professional, or gentle. I requested I be with a different person with the next cleaning, someone who was pleasant and professional. They assured me the female hygienist would be different. I had my cleaning last week with a woman named Jessica. She was rude and not gentle either! She also seemed like she was in a rush. I think they need to look at who they're hiring, because these people are running away business. Will not go back.

I was supposed to have my first appointment today but I decided to leave. They had to door lock with a sign to call the office to come in I had to call 5 times for them to finally answer, I was standing outside in the heat with my mask on for 10 min. Once she finally came out she gave me a clip board with all the paper work and told me to fill it out then slammed the door, there was no where to sit or write, it started sprinkling, and was 92 degrees. I called and let them know I have to leave and cancel my appointment. I thought I finally found a good dentistry for my family, I’m so glad I only scheduled myself first before I brought my son or husband.

Dr.Blum and her entire staff are very careing proffessionsl compassionate. I really appreciate Dr Blum very much. My oral health has improved greatly. I’m really glad I decided to go to her dental practice. I highly recommend her dentistry. Thanks , J. R. Romero

I have been coming to Bear Canyon Family Dentistry since I was a child and I have always loved this facility. I’m a coffee drinker and they always clear off the stains perfectly and help keep my teeth young and strong! 10/10 recommend.

I want preface by saying that I had previously had great experiences with this office. On monday I went for my 0700 cleaning that had been scheduled for months. I had received a call from the office approximately 1.5 weeks prior and spoke with some confirming my appointment. When I arrived on monday the gentleman who checked me in mildly chastised me for not confirming my appointment via a text message but checked me in nonetheless. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer. He advised me that my appointment was not confirmed because I did not respond to a text message even though I spoke with someone in person. He then placed me in an exam cubicle without any lights on and told me that "hopefully" someone would be with me soon. After 10 minutes of sitting in the dark I went to the front desk to advise that I would need to reschedule as it was now 30 minutes after my appointment and I needed to go to work. He rescheduled me but i can't be seen until april. I was treated like I had done something wrong and not being attended to was my punishment. I will be moving to a new dentist and so will my entire family. I did not later call to speak with a manager as the office manager was present and aware of my wait and the one who advised the receptionist to place me in the empty cubicle.

I had a consult with Dr Blum for Invisalign. I had a very pleasant visit with her and I would definitely reccomenend her, if you are looking for a dentist, as she has your best interest at heart. Before I went through with getting my moldings for Invisalign I wanted my teeth cleaned. I didn’t mention this before hand but the office squeezed me in that same day. Becca, the hygienist who did my cleaning was such a breath of fresh air! She was very informative about what she was doing and we even bonded over some good music while she was doing a deep cleaning! Because of Becca and Dr Blum, I will give definitely recommend Bear Canyon!

Amy did a fantastic job. She was gentle with every procedure. Amy explained every procedure and gave warning of every possibility of discomfort. It’s apparent she loves her job making my experience the best yet at a dentist appointment. Thanks Amy.

The hygienist Katrina was efficient, friendly, and did a good job. Dr Montes was the same.
The care was good.

A recommendation when using the new 360 x-ray: the technician needs to lift the little black hook onto and off the patient's teeth. I nearly broke the hook (or my tooth) trying to step back.

Bear Canyon is no doubt the best! Dr. Woods is amazing. He is a true professional. It is obvious that he cares about his patients and their oral care. He explains everything that he is going to do before he begins so I am fully a part of the procedure. I am wearing Invisalign’s and Dr. Woods just finished putting a combination of crowns and veneers on my top teeth and I couldn’t be happier. They feel great and I couldn’t ask for better. I highly recommend Dr. Woods, Rio Ranch Dental Arts, and Bear Canyon Family Dentistry. Thank you Dr. Woods for my great new smile!!
