Bear Canyon Family Dentistry

I had a great experience at Bear Canyon Family Dentistry. Front staff was very pleasant and professional. Dr. Montes was awesome, explaining everything to me in detail. My Hygienist Rebecca was so gental and took so much time with me to make sure I understood what she was doing. I would highly recommend them.

I was referred to Bear Canyon dentistry, when I first moved here by a co-worker. I am so glad I was, all the staff are super friendly, and very professional. I learn quite a bit of dental information I never knew before, each time I visit. Unfortunately, we all have to go to the dentist, this group makes it enjoyable.

Dr. Montez‘s staff is always courteous very helpful and she explains every step of the way. Keep up the good work see you next time.

Bear Canyon’s medical team are very warm and accommodating. They explained every procedure that needs to be done, as well as breaking down the financial aspect of treatment. I walked out of there without questions or uncertainty in my mind. It is very hard to find a dental clinic that you feel comfortable with.

The staff is always pleasant, Dr. Blum and the hygienists are thorough and will explain options. They make every effort to keep me comfortable while I am there.

I went for an emergency evaluation because of an inflamed wisdom tooth. It was quick to get in, the desk staff were very friendly and helpful, the tech assistant was friendly and helpful and Dr Montes was awesome, informative, patient and answered all my questions without being pushy.

The following words are how I felt when I first started going to Bear canyon family dentist so continue reading all the way till the end and see how my relationship with this dentistry ended. Kim the receptionist was extremely understanding and listened to what I had to say when I first walked in.I was kept waiting almost 25 minutes...( I was also kept waiting for hours on one of my visits if you can believe that it's true!) but when she finally came in the room she also really listened. I appreciate that more than anything. She took her time to explain and did not try talkin me into getting work done that didn't need to be done. She referred me to an endodontist (they are big on recommending you to go to other practitioners which will wind up costing you hundreds of more dollars) and so I'll be going there on Friday.(this turned out to be a complete waste of almost $100) All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be going back. I really like Dr. Bloom as she always took good care of me and did excellent work on my teeth HOWEVER THINGS HAVE CHANGED BIG TIME SINCE I FIRST WROTE THIS REVIEW! I went back yesterday and of course all the policies have changed there is no waiting room anymore, you have to wait out in the parking lot because the door is locked you have to have your temperature taken like a sick person you have to use hand sanitizer with you like it or not and I don't like it before you go into the room. If you try to pull down the face diaper and talk to anybody they totally freaked out and it's very disturbing. I had a 2:30 appointment and was called up and asked if I wanted to see doctor Bloom I would have to come at 11:30. I took that appointment because I wanted an examination along with the teeth cleaning. When I got there I was told she most likely wasn't there but she would "check". When the dental hygienist came in I told her I don't pay hundreds of dollars to this dentistry NOT to see my dentist. The one receptionist never came back into the room I was placed in to tell me that the doctor was Not there ...she left it up to the dental hygienist which I also did not appreciate. I walked out and I most likely will not be going back. The whole Aura of the office environment has changed so much so I'm going to be looking elsewhere and it's a shame it really is.

Great place I loved the dentist and the staff were so friendly. I’m a nervous patient but they made me feel really comfortable.

I am not scared or embarrassed to see a dentist after visiting here! They are very gentle and caring. Dr. Montez is a total professional and so is her staff. The office is sanitary and clean. The employees really care about the customer!

I love this office! It’s undergone a lot of changes in the last 6 years but it has all been for the better. My care has improved with a cleaner facility, more modern technology and complete imaging instead of just what I’m complaining about. My doctor has been there several years and is always professional and kind. Dr. Blum is very thorough. The cleaning’s are done by lovely ladies that explain everything and they check my perio status everytime to be sure they are catching things early. I’m so glad to be at an office where they don’t watch problems occur but rather they take steps to prevent crown work, cavities and gum diseas. I would highly recommend this group!
