Advantage Dental+ | Bend

This place is very unprofessional. I went there for a second opinion. they were a bunch a women behind the front desk they all were eating and gossiping. Then I went to get my ex-ray the front lady was rude and laud. When we ask her to send the x-ray to my dentist seems to me was inconvenience to interrupt their conversation and their eating. She also told my husband and I that it will take a couple day. make upset because if wasn't because their bad habits of sitting and eating they probably could have done it in a couple of hours. I do not recommend this place.

Front desks calls and cancels appointment hours before I go in for a time slot that I booked two months in advance and took work off for. Representative did not apologize or even give a reason just said they are canceling. The appointment got pushed now three months away. I understand having to move around and cancel appointments but is all common customer service lost here? I did not complain and did not give attitude and they felt the need to not care or explain as apparently “it is what it is” with them. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

My hygienist was great. Efficient and pleasant. :)
With only one dentist on duty it definitely made my appointment longer waiting for him to get to me. He was pleasant and eager to take care of any isssues I had.
I was called to come In early for appointment by front staff due to some cancellations. That was appreciated. :)

Advantage Dental especially the one here in Bend Or. is a top shelf Dental Clinic to go to. Customer service is always friendly, polite, will try to find the quickest most available appointment opening and they let your voice be heard when something is not right. Finance options offer very low interest if not 0% I feel I have developed a good rapport with my dentist Dr. Buckley. They now have a direct number to call the clinic and they working on not having to wait 6 months to schedule or reschedule an appointment. I was reading some of the other reviews and there is always somebody who has to complain, it is easier to insult than it is to compliment. So with that in mind don't pay attention to the critics or even this review, I am a satisfied customer and I can highly recommend going to Advantage Dental in Bend and form your own opinion, come on people you are having your teeth taken care of by a licensed medical professional this is an important anatomy of your body If you are not happy go to another dentist and complain and see if the quality of work and service measures up.

The Bend Advantage Dental was not welcoming. I waswnot greeted when I walked through the door and stood in line for about 5 minutes without anyone even making eye contact with me from the front desk. My appointment was at 4 for an xray but they did not call me back until 4:30. When I returned to the waiting room to wait for my ride there was a maintenance man working on some repairs and was using a drill that was ridiculous to be using during regular business hours because of the overwhelmingly loud noise. Apparently their patients are less of a priority than the desk that was being worked on. I will never return.

I wanted to give a shout out to Amber who cleaned my teeth this morning. She was extremely gentle, thorough and kind. Another highlight of my experience is that she asked me about whether I would like her to put fluoride on my teeth and didn't seem offended when I declined. Thanks 😊

HORRIBLE customer service. The front desk receptionists were all talking and not even doing work when I came in for my first time several months ago.
I waited an hour just to be seen and the receptionists had noticeable attitude- especially when cutting me off mid-sentence. I've only been to this clinic twice, and have already filed a complaint against them after my first visit because NO ONE deserves to be treated the way I was treated.
Then the next time I came in for an examination, the receptionists all had rude looks on their faces, had no manners and did a lot of whispering.
It seems like no work is ever done there and since they are all very young girls- treat none of their patients with respect. They all seem like a very lazy bunch.

Today I am going in for a cleaning. We shall see if their service has improved at all....

They refused to take our insurance, even though we have great coverage, then wanted up front payment for my sons emergency visit, even though when I made the appointment they said they could bill me. Was treated rudely so we left to go to a more reputable dentist who would actually take his patients more seriously then his wallet.

updated review: had pain since I had a filling done. The squeezed me into an emergency spot and took more X-rays, and found out that there was a high spot on my tooth (should’ve been found when doing the filling) he ground it down and made sure that is was no longer a high spot. Still unhappy that I’ve been in pain for over a month and that I had to miss another day of work.

I had to make an appt in less then a week for exposed nerve, needing tooth extracted. Was super nervous as I had bad experiences in past with other dentists in other locations. My whole experience here was welcoming, pleasant and gentle as could be !! Staff was awesome, dentist did great.
