Everyone here is very kind and responsive to the patient's needs. Not a big fan of any dentist office but I will say I feel very comfortable at Smiles Eugene. Dental Hygienist, Assistants, and the Doc are all awesome.

Best dental appt of my life! I was in pain and they got me in for a consult sooner than the other 6 places I called. I was amazed by how well they run this office, the staff is very friendly and so efficient! Nick was my dental assistant and she was awesome!! Dr Parry was excellent and did all the work I needed the same morning which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciated that they went over what my bill would be BEFORE doing the work. Will recommend this Dr to everyone!

I LOVED going to the dentist, especially this one, until my last experience at smiles. Dr. Perry has left and they were transitioning between dentists, which I was not told on the phone. The traveling dentist, Dr. Shoemaker, was extremely unprofessional, condescending, rude, and just bad at his job. The composite on the inside of my front tooth chipped off and I just needed a simple repair. He ground the whole tooth down so it was a couple millimeters shorter than my other teeth, VERY noticeable, and it gave me a lisp. I stated that I couldn't walk out of the office like this and he became very confrontational, said that I didn't know what I was talking about because I'm not a dentist, and that he was ending this visit because of my attitude! He left the assistant to deal with me and returned a few minutes later with a different demeanor. He was trying to be nice and said he would do what I asked and build the tooth back up with composite and that he would not charge me (I hadn't mentioned anything about money, I just waned my tooth fixed). At that point I was so upset, I felt like I couldn't even speak or this man would mess up my teeth even more or just refuse to continue the job. It's a very vulnerable position to be in- just laying there silently with tears in my eyes and mouth wide open for this guy who I did not trust. As stated, he did not charge me but I left with a bigger and rougher front tooth and a sick feeling. Over the next few days my tongue and lip became raw and cut from the jagged surface to the tooth. I slept with my whitening tray at night so it wouldn't get worse. I called the office a couple times after I had calmed down and was told that the manager was not in but she was aware of the situation and I should wait for her to call me back. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard from anyone from Smiles. I ended up smoothing the tooth myself with a nail file and metal dental tools from the grocery store. I'm sure the new dentist will be better but the experience with Shoemaker left a bad taste in my mouth.

The reception staff is always friendly and informative. The hygienists are always gentle, kind, friendly and engaging. Then dentist is competent and also friendly. The premises are clean and inviting. Location is convenient and parking is plenty. I do not have employer-provided dental insurance so I purchase their annual plan for two cleanings with x-rays, etc. I find it very affordable. I have been coming here for a few years now and continue to be a happy customer.

They are very professional, but also very friendly and do everything they can to make you feel relaxed. My son had a bad cavity needing to be taken care of. Being new to the area I was having a hard time getting him a new patient appointment at a pediatric dentist. They were all scheduled weeks out. Then last night it really flared up and he was in A LOT of pain!! This morning I woke up calling eveywhere but no one would see him until I called these guys! They where able to get him in same day!! Once I was there everyone was very nice. They were not going to do same day treatment but after me explaining to them how long it was seeming to take get in with a pediatric dentist and the pain he could continue to have the Doctor agreed to try treatment and see how my son behaved. Both doctors were Great with my son and very gentle. We were able to get my son treated and prevent him from another sleepless night over the weekend. THANK YOU so much Smiles Dental for everything!!

The dentist might have had the worst bedside manners out of any doctor I have ever seen. He tried to extract my tooth without explaining the procedure or the cost and then recommended a bridge instead of an implant. They then wanted to charge me an insane amount of money. If you want to save yourself a headache just buy a plain ticket to Mexico and get dental work done there. Implants in Mexico cost $750 and dentists in the US charge $10,000. You can literally go on a 3 month vacation in Mexico and get all your teeth fixed for the cost of one implant. Our medical and dental systems are broken.
