This is the worst dental office in the whole state of utah, do no make the same mistake I did, I went there 7 Years algo and I’m still paying for it, these incompetent people don’t know how to charge insurance companies, my insurance told me several times that they were willing to pay but that these ignorant people couldn’t manage to send the right paperwork to get paid. Now my credit is stained because of this crappy office and my account still is in collection because they couldn’t do their job, we have been dealing with these idiots for 7 years, calling us constantly, asking us to schedule a new appointment because we are due for a cleaning!?? When we closed our account 7 years ago and we keep telling them to stop calling us, we asked them to remove our information due to their incompetence, once you give them your information, THEY WILL NEVER STOP CALLING YOU AND HARRASING YOU whether you have a good or “bad” account. We regret having gone to this place. Please do yourself a favor and find a place that knows how to deal with insurance paperwork or you’ll end up in collections like me even when you had insurance that was willing to pay.

This place is the worst dental office I've ever been too. Make an appointment and wait around for an hour after the appointment. Then I have 2 different people clean my teeth for a teeth cleaning and then the hygienist recommends doing a $150 deep cleaning on ONE tooth, but it only costs $58 with your dental insurance. Somehow they were able to look up how much it costs on my dental plan to clean one tooth, but are unable to figure out how to bill my dental plan for the office visit. So thanks to their incompetence in their billing department I have on my credit report a collections account for my office visit. I have coached them on three occasions now on how to bill my SUPPLEMENTAL dental insurance because my medical insurance has no dental coverage. Maybe this ONE STAR review will help them understand how to bill a supplemental dental plan: you bill the medical plan as a PRIMARY and once they have rejected dental coverage THEN you bill my dental plan as a SECONDARY. What a headache. Go for a teeth cleaning and leave with negative records on my credit report because the office doesn't know how to bill a dental plan.

Service in this place is okay but the cost associated is not acceptable. On top of that sometimes even after 8 months they will call you back and charge for some pending bill (even though you've paid for everything). So please make sure at the time you leave this place you are 100% sure about what you are paying for. Otherwise you will get surprised with a new bill. If you want to avoid all these unnecessary hassles, there are better place in the city.

Seriously, the worse experience I've had with a dentist office yet. I am not one to write bad review but boy was I disappointed with this office. I based going here because of all the good reviews it got...
The lack of patient involvement with what the plan is with your mouth is ridiculous. If I didn't ask questions (like probe) then I would never have known what the plan was. Then the actual procedure (fillings) was rushed. It was scheduled for 1.5 hr, it was done in an hour, which is fantastic but all four of my fillings were not done correctly. I woke up in excruciating pain.. When I tried to make an appt to get it fixed, they didn't want to schedule me until 11 days out! Until I demanded I get seen right away. Once I did the new dentist tried fixing it, its not 100% but I am definitely not going back.
The only good thing in this office was the hygienist that first helped me., Jessica I believe. She was thorough, explained what she was doing & why, made suggestions & overall polite. The dentist that day, didn't introduce himself, just told Jessica what to write down & left right after.
The day of the fillings, the asistant wasn't aware that she was janking on the damn suction thing, she was just looking up & around.. The dentist had to keep telling her what to do the entire time. This dentist again, didn't introduce himself & kept asking which teeth he needed to work on... uhm I didn't feel like a human at all just a number with a $ symbol attached.
Terrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

I wish I could provide a review for the actual dental work, but I can't, because I never got to that point. I was specifically looking for a dentist near downtown Salt Lake City, so I scheduled an appointment with the Center of Dental Professionals at their location on 530 East 500 South as a new patient. When I arrived for the appointment, they told me my appointment was at the Murray location. I was never told my appointment was at the Murray location - I didn't even know they had a Murray location. So I called their number to cancel and they couldn't find my appointment on the calendar at either location. There are a plethora of dentists in Salt Lake City, I have other options. If this is how their scheduling is, what other mistakes will they make? Thanks but no thanks.

I don't know how this place is getting 5 stars, people must be delusional of this is the first dentist they went to. I went there because it was close to where I lived. On my check up they told me I had 5 cavities, this was odd I never had issues before. I scheduled an appointment to have them repaired, the dentist that repaired them did a horrible job, somehow my cavity developed into a root canal. This is not a professional organization at all. I would highly discourage everyone from going there.

They got me to go see them by telling me a $$ amount that the service would be (supposedly cheaper because I had insurance, even if I didn't have dental). Then 6 months later they billed me for an additional $100 or so. So make sure you get any price promise in writing...
