I was at the South Salt Lake location of UNPROFESSIONALS from a rescheduled appointment. While waiting 20 minutes in the lobby I heard reminder calls going out to customers. I heard a receptionist named Desiree call a patient's parent and say while still on the phone, "F. . . it I don't understand you" and then hung up the phone. Ten minutes later she calls and man to reschedule his appointment because the doctor will not be available he cancels. Her response to that was, "of course F. . .ER." Nice to know that they call their customers "F...ERS" That's when I remembered that when I called last week to reschedule because I had the flu I must have spoken to the same person. She threatened to charge me for not showing up and told me that if I was really sick I should bring a doctors note to prove it. I think the name of the South Salt Lake location should be changed to THE CENTER OF DENTAL UNPROFESSIONALS. I would have given them a zero rating because a one is to high for what I really think of them but it would not let me post.

I had a poor experience after a few cavities and a crown. First they quoted a price for my insurance, paid what I was told, then had bill collectors after me a year later. In addition, they put in a filling poorly and had to go back to have it redone. It again was not done well (sharp point that breaks floss) but was tired of going back for shoddy work. It’s been a year and my crown is already loose, and found a new dental office to fix the jagged fillings. I won’t ever go back to a place that does sloppy dental and billing work like this place. I still am paying off what was supposed to be paid by insurance and now am paying another dentist to fix the previous work

Excellent care and friendly staff. My hygienist, Danielle, does an amazing job (pain-free cleanings) and Dr. Ho is very sharp and never misses a cavity nor over-diagnoses.

If you enjoy waiting an hour plus in the waiting room for your appointment everytime this is the place for you. They constantly double book the dentists. Mess up with booking between the salt lake location and the Murray one. This place is a waste of time and they do terrible work. They will try to gouge you on everything! Stay away!!!!

Today(11/28) i saw a much better dentist, Luke Peterson who I would highly recommend. He put in a filling and explained everything being more thorough.I wasn't rushed through like yesterday(11/27) which was john poulter who I wouldn't recommend. The hyg gave me Sore gums when they flossed and left thread between because of the large thickness of the floss, only checked and cleaned half my teeth with there sharp pointy tool. I Had to take my xrays twice , they rushed me through when I was 15 min early, and I still had blue stuff on my mouth. Also I had to tell the dentist about a tooth that needed a filling rather than him telling me.( salt lake location). I'm going back for a the filling tomorrow so I will let everyone know if it's improved...if not I'm finding a new place. I added the good dentist at the top of the paragraph and I will try him again in six months.

Amazing service when I got my fills done by Alejandra and Dr. Hemmert. Also an amazing job while getting some extractions done by David, Nick and Dr. gay! I would totally recommend this place to my friends and family!

They need to take the professionals out of their name. The dentist I went to was okay but the billing and customer service is horrible. I got a bill I shouldn't have and called and explained the guy said he would take care of it and then I got another bill so I tried calling and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Absolutely Insane I have better things to do than try and hassle with a bill that shouldn't be. Yet they still call and try to get me to come back for a checkup yeah right!

Awesome experience. Dr. Luke Peterson is an excellent dentist. Jana RDH is very nice and helpful. Our family had a very nice experience there recently. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
