The staff at the front desk were very attentive and friendly. They were nice to me when I came in sleepy and out of it from having just worked a night shift. All of them were smiling :)
The office was so clean, and I love that they allow walk-ins and take Medicaid as well as major insurances. The hygienist was kind, and so was my dentist. Forgive me for not remembering the names! I have been searching for a dentist that I trust and feel comfortable with, and I recommend this practice.
I was spoken to about missing teeth and come to find out, my insurance covers partial dentures! I never even knew such a thing existed. I'm so excited to finally get my oral health taken care of. I was given a root canal referral today at my appointment. The dentist made sure they take my insurance, too! My dentist was also clear that we could not do any work until I get my root canal, and I was understanding about it. She explained what needed to be done very clearly, and I felt no anxiety about my future procedures.

Today was my first day of becoming a patient at Family Dental at Virgina from the moment I walked into the door everyone was very friendly and very professional. When I went in back to see the dental hygienist and the dentist, they made me feel very comfortable and at ease, for I have had bad experiences with dentist before. I would definitely recommend the family dental of Virginia. I am very happy that I have found a dentist that I will stay with.

The dentist was great she did 4 extractions and I felt no pain and she was concerned about me being in pain. She gave me a prescription after the procedure was done. The staff was very nice as well I would recommend Family Dental to my family and friends.

Friendly staff and knowledgeable dentist that know what their doing. I had a root canal done and the procedure was painless. Staff made me feel comfortable and I was in and out in no time. I suggest getting an early appointment so you won’t have a long wait time.

6. Finally, I noticed, there aren't any plug outlets in the waiting area. I think this is AWESOME, as young children tend wet their hands ( hands in their mouth) and touch things. Once again, keeping our young safe.

Second review is 5 stars rather than 4.
On Jan 6 I had to have two wisdom teeth extracted plus another one where a tooth had abcesed under a crown. I'm very sensitive to any oral pain--as in gum injections to numb me up. Wow! Dr B and staff were amazingly attentive and responsive. I had a nearly pain free experience!
So A+ again to clinical staff. Thank you, Dr. B, dental assistant MQ (heading on to dental school) and others. Also A+ again to the admin staff. They are so efficient and friendly! Paperwork, insurance details, scheduling--a patient couldn't ask for better!
It's a very welcoming practice. Looks like everyone is valued and attended to! Kids and adults of all ages. Medicare and Medicaid, a plethora of dental plans!
I will mention that my stay was rather long, and my initial wait before being called was about an hour. But my procedure was "upgraded" from extraction to oral surgery, requiring additional paperwork, insurance verification, etc. That might not be OK with some people, but efficiency must have required it. And did I mention a nearly pain free experience during oral surgery???!!!
If you are reading this in a process of finding a dentist, stop looking. You've found the practice you seek!

I had a very positive first experience here recently. Clinical staff and admin staff A+. Only a few minutes of waiting to get in the dental chair once I'd completed the MOUNTAIN of new patient paperwork.
Flaw: They rarely answer the phone or respond to messages left on their voice mail. I have questions about my scheduled followup visit and a possible lost ring while I was there. Three days and two messages later I've heard nothing. What if my concern were urgent?

But my Dr was SUPER GENTLE!!! He was kind. The staff are happy and pleasant. ALL that matters!!! Don't let the location fool you! I will be returning for more dental work. Great job guys!!!!

Very friendly staff checked in quick. But my appointment was at 2:00 and I waited a hour to be seen witch was just ridiculous. Doctor was very nice helped me out a lot!

I went there for a tooth ache. The experience was great.. The check in was good. The ladies at the front desk was nice and friendly. I didn't wait long at all. The dentist was was very good. He explained everything to me. Him and his assistant worked well together. The overall experience was very good. I will definitely be going back. I will tell my friend's about Family Dental.
