New Town Dental Arts

I couldn't be happier with Newtown Dental Arts! I had to change a year ago due to insurance and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Jennifer Howard and her entire staff are friendly and make you feel like you are important for their practice. The quality of service is also amazing from cleaning to crowns. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Howard was able to see me short notice. The staff was very kind while I was dealing with a painful dental issue. She was very transparent and referred me to a specialist. Her bedside manner is excellent and professional. I will continue to see her for my regular dental visits.

I give the dentist,and her group a 5 ⭐. My 2⭐ goes to the office, and whoever is in charge of office. I most certainly would have been treated differently. Had I had paid my bill of $156 more quickly. Now that I'm able to pay. I can't pay them,or the collection agency. I've been completely removed from new town dental system . Can't even make an appointment. My dentist had one more procedure to do. My first visit should have my last. My first visit I was 5mins late. Was told I had to reschedule my appointment. It's a 45 min drive for me.

Everyone was so friendly, fun to chat with, and very helpful. They made recommendations that went above and beyond to help me get the best care possible. This is the best experience I have had at a dentist office.

The facility was clean and organized. Every staff member was kind and professional.
My exam was thorough and my dentist is always willing to address my concerns.

This a follow-up to this review that was done 5 months ago—nothing was fixed. Owner AND front staff did nothing and had no intention to fix the problem they caused.
——————————————————————My wife and I recently came in as new patients. We're immediately going elsewhere to another dental practice with more competent and engaged front staff. Front staff engagement and follow-thru was lousy and dishonest (scheduling, billing, and managers). Lazy, dismissive, and tone-deaf when it came to fixing claim billing errors New Town Dental Arts caused and not being able to abide by routine dental service appointment requests.
Communicated a half dozen times with staff with zero resolution/closure. I confirmed on my own and with with my insurance company (additional three times) that the error is on New Town Dental Arts and there is no prior patient dental histories that would cause conflict. I'm left to pay a forward balance that New Town Dental Arts is too stubborn (or incompetent) to admit to (look at the other 1-stars reviews...there's a similar theme).
I specifically requested the same services for my wife and I (routine x-rays and cleaning) that were to be 100% covered by my in-network insurance company. Very simple request. Claims between my wife and I were submitted differently for the same services and 100% reimbursement for service was denied because New Town Dental Arts likes to perform two x-ray services that can't both be done within the same 5 year period; this is something that New Town Dental Arts as an -in-network provider should know. This is a well-known, large carrier.
New Town Dental Art's servicing dentist knew of the issue right away when we were discussing the problem and why I was leaving; she mentioned that there is a history of this happening due their common practice of billing the claims with the similar x-rays. ****Not once did the front staff, billing people, or managers mention this known issue**** They deflected the problem on myself or the insurance company.
Supposed claim resubmittals were done, yet there was no attempt to notify me of an update before receiving another forward bill balance due. Services were performed almost three months ago.
Dishonest and lazy group of professionals.

When I called to establish myself as a new patient, I was told that regular checkups were scheduling six months into the future. When they learned that I was experiencing tooth pain, however, they fit me in right away. In my visit, the dentist thoroughly examined my problem tooth and provided both a referral to an endodontist and the assurance of a prompt follow up, afterward. The staff and dentist were kind, professional, and attentive. All in all, this was a great experience, as a new patient.

I had a great first time experience. The staff are very polite and helpful if you have any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic group of Dentis and staff. My wife and I trust them to take great care of our dental needs.
