Wait time is too long especially when you have an appointment

I had a excellent experience at West Coast Dental of Los Angeles. I got a appointment in less than 2hrs for a toothache that woke me at around 4:30am. The office was only ten minutes from my home. The staff was very courteous and professional. They knew I was in pain and I was called promptly. The hygienist Pam was excellent. Dr. Faith Chun my dentist, was also excellent. The x-ray technician was excellent. Obviously, I was impressed. I'm actually looking forward to seeing my dentist again. Oh, I had a cavity under a crown. The tooth had to be removed. She's a strong lady. My teeth are hard to get out. I had very little pain. Right now I have no pain. Thanks to all of you at West Coast Dental of Los Angeles, Vermont Blvd office.

I Love The Hygenist who did my cleaning and Dr. Lee who did the extraction and just everyone who helped me today with my cleaning and an extraction. The tooth that got pulled today was a nightmare and finally no more. Today is one of the Happiest days of my life and I will not ever procrastinate about nothing in life again after today. And best part of all is that Kindhearted Dr. Lee and her Kindhearted team mates treated me so nice and pleasant. All of them. They made me feel good and comfortable. I told them all I love them when they were done and said it again to remind them while walking out. Today is a good day. And I hope everyone there find a million dollars today. Just give me a dollar if you do lol😁❤️

Came here after going to a really low budget dentist for years. Had a great experience!

I would recommend Dr. Jina Lee, as she's very friendly and professional. I struggled with drinking cold water and eating certain foods, especially sweets. She did several fill ins and a half crown, and my mouth feels so much better and pain free. When I came back about 6 months later, she noticed my half crown was chipped and replaced it for free!

One of the assistants, Jaime, is also a nice and professional employee. I have a couple of crooked teeth, so clear x-rays can be hard to take, but he didn't give up trying and eventually got the angles the doctor needed.

Showed up to my 11:30 appointment on time waiting nearly 1 hour & 30 mins to be seen !!! This happens ever time . The doctor was nice but the dentist assistant wasn’t nice or welcoming . She never greeted me just told me to pick a color & take my mask off !! Once she applied my rubber bands she stated” my teeth will be sore tomorrow and the only thing she can tell me to do was take Advil “ I thought that was a bit rude smh !! Maybe she wasn’t having a good day .

Good efficient service. 1st time visit as a new patient. I unexpectedly received same day service. Financial clerk did not offer a payment plan for recommendations suggested by the doctor, instead the financial clerk clumped the total cost together and presented to me my accelerated total. Thereafter, the attending dentist mentioned the fact that West Coast Dental actually has a payment plan for my recommended treatment.
Minutes later, I was informed my insurance covers a significant percentage of my needed services. Therefore, after the misinterpretation of the financial expenses, I received the needed treatment and scheduled for my next appointment.
Go figure.

I would give ZERO stars if I could!!!! My son needed treatment and I made sure to get all the approvals I needed before he showed up there by himself since I am 7 hours away now. They waited until 5:50pm to tell him he needed a $100 deductible, which I was already told they could bill me later for or I would do a payment over the phone for him but the desk lady wouldn't except that now. My insurance also said that was fine prior to the appt. The lady at the desk then told my son to tell me to call this corporate number at 5:54 pm, which was a completely wrong number!! The guy who answered the phone said " I don't know why she gave you my # and extension by I can't help you!" My son then said the lady said the corporate office was probably closed already (so why would she give me a number to call if they were closed already to begin with and also it was the wrong number!!!) It was obvious that she wanted to close the office at 6pm but the website said 7pm and the scheduling department also confirmed with the dental office directly that they were supposed to stay open until 7pm. My son said they were all leaving, closing down the office while he was still on the phone with me. I couldn't believe that! He had to pay to take an Uber there and back from his dorm and didn't get anywhere and his tooth is still hurting today. Worse experience ever! Please take your business elsewhere.

Been coming here for over 5yrs. Good Dentist and Customer Service. Time has change. This place is now becoming the Welfare Office. Crowded sitting area and long wait time. This past visit was a nightmare. I had a appointment, it took 1 and 30min to be called. U need to check your paperwork. They will charge u for service, not received. I agree with the comments about fees and Customer Service. I have insurance with my job. Every time I come here, I'm paying for something. I will take my business some where else...

Very rude staff. Didn't check my insurance before scheduling an appointment for which I had to take a day off. At the office and after driving for an hour, they tell me that they can't do the procedure and they need to get confirmation from insurance first!! Completely ridiculous service, rude staff and terrible place all around. Save your self some trouble and go somewhere else.
