Sage Dental of Downtown Orlando

I have always had a fear of going to the dentist. This location is welcoming and everyone made me feel Very comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment with Dr. Suits. She has managed to change my opinion on the dentist & alleviated a lot of my fears.

After 3 visits I am pleased with work I had put off for YEARS after a bad visit elsewhere! I wish I could give them an extra star!! I got a root canal ((which calcified after a fill elsewhere)), beautiful crown, many fills and also an extraction! PAINLESS! The great service started with the office manager, Sakiya . I was concerned about how I’d afford the work when my insurance changed. She helped me sign up for CareCredit.Very polite and confidential in a waiting room! Mike was an excellent help to doctor Alvarez each visit! I definitely felt in control of what was done to MY mouth. Topped off with a good cleaning from the hygienist! I couldnt thank them enough! I’m smiling everywhere!!

My experience at Sage Dental Downtown location was superb! Dr. Alvarez is very thorough in his work and in his care for his patients. When I shared with him how much I appreciate his compassion for his patients and passion for dentistry he responded "Are you kidding me?! I love all my patients and I love teeth!" Everyone in the office is so nice as well. The office is very clean with their state of the art equipment. Dr. Alvarez is an excellent dentist. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I have to say that I have never had as much trouble trying to get a regular cleaning then I had at Sage Dental in Downtown Orlando. I have now been to the office twice and have yet to get my cleaning. The first time I came, they completed my xrays as they require this on the first appointment prior to a cleaning. They took soooooo long that I had to leave to go back to work as I only took of 2.5 hours from work. So when I was at the office, they made an appointment for my cleaning about a month later. I just went in to the office today for what I thought was my cleaning appointment at 11am. I got there 10 mins early and they had me fill out the new patient paperwork AGAIN because they could not find mine, which has my social all over. I finished the paperwork by 11am. Then after about 40 mins of waiting, they receptionist, not even the denist assistant, called me back and put me in the chair. Then after about another 20 mins, so I am now here 1 hour, the assistant comes and starts saying they missed an xray last time so I have to do that one today. Im fine with that. The hygienist comes in and evaluates my teeth, which took all of 2 minutes. He says he recommends just a regular cleaning and that the doctor would come in to look at my teeth as well and that would be it. I asked if he was coming back to do my cleaning, and he checked with the assistant and they only had him down for an exam so he just walked out. I asked the assistant about this, and why I am not getting a cleaning, as this appointment was for a cleaning and she just said that was how they had it since last time they took too long and I couldn't see the hygienist and dentist. I was extremely upset so told her I was just going to leave and not come back. As I am leaving, I notice that there are absolutely no patients in any chairs. So why could they not complete my cleaning today as they had the time? Why was that not offered to rectify the situation as I have already wasted a lot of time just to get my teeth cleaned, which takes no more that 15 minutes. And then when I go to the front, the girls were just chit chatting. Seems very busy. Instead of solving a problem, they lost a patient and are now receiving this review. I have already made an appointment with a new dentist, and they perform the exam and cleaning during the same appointment. Very efficient.

Over priced, charges for procedures that are not necessary. Pushy, sales oriented. Best bet is to stay away and go local. These chains are not good. They charged my husband almost 500$ for something he didn't need, they tried to do the same thing to me and I went elsewhere and they said I was completely fine, places like those are just looking to turn a profit. I can only imagine they run a discount if you “check-in” or post with all these good reviews.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had my first appointment where I was told I would receive a cleaning by multiple Sage Dental employees as well as a free whitening kit. After being at the appointment for over an hour, receiving X-rays, seeing the dentist for maybe 5 mins, sitting in the dental chair waiting, and listening to the secretary try to sell my on a “treatment plan” where she proceeded to provided unfounded medical advice, I was told they don’t have hygienists to clean my teeth (the whole reason I was there). Was charged some $5 fee and left. Also didn’t receive the promised whitening kit. Patient experience was essentially unhelpful and unprofessional. Thus, if you don’t want to be misled/scammed/ripped off, entirely inconvenienced and disappointed with the care and service you receive, I highly suggest you avoid this business and go elsewhere. There are several other dentists in the area who hopefully aren’t as shady as this company.

I am simply Amazed at how professional and friendly the staff is at Sage downtown Orlando. Sakiya is so wonderful and very welcoming! She’s very knowledgeable of EVERYTHING, and helped me understand the breakdown of my dental procedures! I love coming here!

I’m a 44 y/o that takes pretty decent care of my 🦷 The doctor did a fantastic job of explaining what would be done for me today & why it es necessary. She even explained the price directorate as fine in Altamonte. The doctor over in that office is horrible. I wish I knew his name but he never introduced himself. In retrospect I see why. Back to Downtown Safe, Kuz was snacking. She did a deep cleaning on me and lectured me in the one thing I suck at which is flossing. I’m happy. Thanks to Dr. Sweet and Luz I’m on the right track to maintaining heathy teeth for as long as possible.

I went in for a simple filling that just part of it came out of my tooth so I needed it to be fixed, however the doctor would not want to do anything if I did not have root canal done. Basically, you come for one simple thing and they are definitely trying to up-sell and won't do anything unless you do what doctor tell you to do. He just turned me away and wouldn't even do anything. I switched my dental provider that same day and got my filling fixed there with no problem. I read some similar reviews that the office is trying to upsell whatever you need done and it is true.

I absolutely loved this place. The doctor, the hygienist, the dental assistant, the lady at the from desk, and everyone in general was really helpful and kind to me. I’d definitely recommend this place. I guarantee you will be safe and satisfied. I had an amazing experience with Sage Dental. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
