They are not very personal. It's all about the money. I think this last time I was actually in the chair 5/10 minutes. I also don't like if you have a legit reason for canceling an appointment they don't reschedule you again for 3 months if your lucky. Bedside manner bad...my husband was in getting his dentures and one male Dentist said to him this is gonna hurt and started chuckling with another Dentist with no explanation. I am going back to my Dentist Dr Spencer in 5 points.

The dental staff is excellent. Unfortunately the "administration staff" is Terrible! More time is wasted while they try to access their terminal. For a simple address change, you can expect to sit at persons station while she attempts to find your data and enter one character at a time. Expect to be "ripped off" on credit card charges. They don't show the bill until after they "run" your charges. Insist on first seeing your bill before you signing.

Awful place to go! They're only looking to get your money! I went there a couple years ago and instead of giving me the cleaning I was there for, they did a quick check up to see what was needed to be done. First of all, know that I'm in my early 50's and have never had a cavity. My teeth have always been in excellent condition. After my check up, they sent me to another office, which wasn't a dentist, but a financial person!!! He was the one to tell me what "needed" to be done and how much it would cost, which was about $2000 after insurance!! I've just heard from several neighbors that they have had the very same experience there. Unless you have lots of money to waste and want to throw it away on big dental companies, don't go there!

Went in under an extreme amount of pain (and lack of sleep). The staff was pleasant, quick and even found time to perform my extraction within the hour. 72 hours later and I feel like a new man. Only reason it does not get 5 stars is my insurance is not completely accepted at this practice. If your insurance is covered, go to Aspen Dental!

Staff was receptive to needs and concerns. Office Manager was knowledgeable about and a tremendous help in getting financing arranged and to schedule extraction service next day. Dr. Monteiro was excellent and very patient with my needs - conducted the full extractions next day in steps to ease anxiety. Were very considerate of my back / hip issues and ensured I was as comfortable as could be. About the only negative I can think of was fact none of the techs after placement of temp dentures really offered to or hand me damp towel (towelettes) to wipe spittle and dried blood off my lips/chin. Overall an excellent experience - especially for one who definitely disliked dentists / dental procedures. Administrative office needs a few more people to adequately handle phones/ sign-ins. but this office is well worth going to.

Received a bill in the mail from the Aspen in Yulee for $50 on a procedure I had done there a YEAR ago. They claimed the insurance didn't pay the full amount and the insurance company says they paid exactly the amount that was contracted. So basically the Aspen person who rung me up assumed the insurance company would pay more than was contracted and I trusted them. No way would I have agreed to have this done if I knew at the time it would cost this much. So just take it from me look up your insurance information yourself and don't take Aspen's word for it because you will pay for their mistake.

My assigned dentist was thorough and knowledgeable - he earned 5 stars. The person making the appointment lied on 2 important issues! I requested a specific dentist and was assured my appointment was with him - as it turned out that dentist didn't even work at the same location I visited. He earned 0 stars. Upon arriving for my visit I again asked the receptionist to make sure my insurance was accepted there and was assured it was. At the conclusion of the visit when reviewing my treatment plan I was then told by her that they did NOT accept my insurance. She earned 0 stars. Use this office at your own peril!

Not a terrible place, I went here once rather than my usual location for a specialist consultation. I waited longer than I should have for such a quick conversation, then chose to receive a phone call based on my visit and didn’t receive it. Calling back to try to get the info I need, keep being put on hold and redirected.

Brittany is excellent. She is professional & patient. She is very knowledgeable & has provided me with an alternative to biotene.
Prices have gone up at aspen dental. I may have to explore other options bc of this.
