I called on Friday at roughly 3:00. I procrastinated and thought my toothache would improve. They did not have an appointment available of course. The pain of the toothache could be controlled with Tylenol. They were fully booked for the next week but suggested I come in first thing Monday as a walk-in. On Monday, I arrived at 7:00 am. By 10AM, I had my front tooth filled and a complete cleaning and was on my way home. They could have not treated me any better. I have been their patient for 3 years. I am a very satisfied customer!

I moved to the Yulee, Florida area and found Aspen Dental I'm a little upset with them. $800 quoted for a deep cleaning in Yulee. My insurance agreed to pay it. Now I'm told by AD that I'll have to pay about $250 out of pocket for antibiotics and they're trying to get me to finance this. $800 should more than cover the total cost. I shouldn't need to pay out of pocket. I'm going to take my dental work elsewhere. Don't trust there treatment plans and deceptive billing. You'll get stuck with a massive amount of out of pocket expenses.

Disappointed at how initially this is set up. As a new patient with in network insurance, I called to make appointment. Recording on phone says they encourage you to make appointment online for new patients, so I did. I get there, find out there is a $30 charge for Oral Cancer screening, oh and I’m not getting my teeth cleaned today. 🤦‍♀️
I was caught off guard. If I had had a live person on phone to make initial appointment, at least I would know what to expect. This is the problem with lack of human communication. JMO

My husband has been a reoccurring patient of Aspen Dental. Since I am now under his insurance policy, Aspen Dental was who he recommended me to see when I had chipped my tooth a week ago. I went to their site, scheduled an available slot 10/2/21 and filled out all new patient information that included health insurance. The morning of my scheduled appointment I received 2 missed phone calls, there was no caller ID and no voicemails. I had to look up the phone number to see who it was and I called them back. I was told over the phone with whom I believe now is the office manager Candace, she said the doctor had a family emergency and they will be closing the office early. She told me that she wasn't aware until she saw the note posted on her desk. I was told that I can either come in early 9:30am or reschedule it. It was already 8:45am and I told her that I would take the 9:30am. I arrived at 9:15am with my signed forms, the moment I walked in I felt unwanted. There was two other folks in the waiting room and the only person at the front desk was office manager Candace. I went to sign in and told her that I'm here for my appointment. She immediately asked me if I had insurance, I told her that I did and gave her my card. She took the card, looked at it then said that it wasn't the right card. She said I'm supposed to have a separate card from the medical card I gave her that says dental, then prompt to show me what one would look like. I informed her that I am under my husband's insurance and dental was included, all she had to do was look up the policy number. I guess that was still too much work for her to do because in no time of her typing into her computer that she informed me that I needed to ask my husband to speak with HR to confirm that dental was included. She said that she can call the number on the insurance card to confirm but it would be unlikely someone will answer being it's a Saturday. She called, got the main number and that's all she was willing to do. She even pulled out a book of phone numbers of insurance company and said it would take her a while just to go through the numerous numbers. I told her my husband is a client here, gave her all the information. First she said she didn't find him in the system using his number, and when she finally did she still told me that I needed to provide her a policy number for dental still. She was able to tell me the name of the dental insurance company but somehow there's no policy number? It doesn't make any sense to me and I felt like she really wanted me out of there so she can go home. I expressed my frustrations to my husband who has been speaking highly of Aspen Dental and recommending them to everyone. This whole experience left such a bad taste that I will not reschedule my appointment and my husband will be looking for a new dentist. I also want to add that after I got home I went on MetLife website and it says that an ID card is not needed to show coverage, which is why we were not issued one.

My wife went there as a new patient for a cleaning. The one you get once a year for free. Immediately after filling out the paperwork they asked for 40.00. We asked what it was for, the lady said it was for a cancer screening. My wife said im here for a cleaning not a cancer screening. Lady said ok.

So the dentist comes in and does his thing, then the hygenist. They said she needed a deep cleaning. My wife said well lets just do the normal cleaning for now. Hygenist said ok and left. 20 minutes later they come and ask my wife back to the office staff. they said she needs a deep cleaning. Asked how much that was. they said 800. My wife said no thanks will just do the regular cleaning for now. They kept pushing it. Lady tried to pressure my wife into opening up a credit account to pay for the deep cleaning. My wife said no I will come back and do that at a later time. They said they couldnt do the normal covered cleaning because she needed deep cleaning. So we got up and left. Will not be going back. They must obviously push their staff to upsell as much as they can. I will be cancelling mine and my daughters upcoming appointments as well. Not a good look for a first time patient.

First off, I need to say I HATE the dentist and in the past I’ve needed lots of dental work. But today was the best dental experience you could possible have. I visited the Yulee location. Everyone was so nice, helpful and kind. EVERYONE…front office staff, X-ray tech, dental hygienist, dentist and the clerk. They didn’t try to force unneeded work or services and they have the most up-to-date X-ray and 3D imaging services. I can’t recommend this location enough. Thank you for my first “pleasant” dental experience. ☺️

I must admit I haven’t been to a dentist since I was a teen, mostly do to bad experience (even with that said I’ve taken great care of my teeth, so you can trust me ;-D). From the moment I walked in til the moment I left, the team at Aspen took exquisite care of me. I went in at 7am, I had already done my paperwork at home online and registered my account. The technology of the scanners/3D imaging etc. is wow!!! The pricing is explained thoroughly and itemized and yes it is FREE as advertised unless you have unforeseen issues and even then it’s not extremely expensive and they work all the way with you. With Aspen Dental there is no longer an excuse to not go to the dentist and take care of yourself, they are worth the visit!!!
