Brought my son here yesterday for a comprehensive exam since we just moved to Maui. The place seems to be entirely run by sweet and professional women. I noticed all their interactions with each patient and each interaction was genuine and top tier. We were seen promptly, we felt safe, we loved both our smart, funny, positive hygienist and dentist (both young women). Even though we were only there for a comp, since they knew he was due for a cleaning too they fit us in so we didn't have to come back again until our next 6 month visit. Rather than breaking the comp and the cleaning down into 2 back-to-back visits. My son said his teeth felt "amazing" and "stronger" afterwards. Of course, I'm sure it helped that he had 0 cavities. Brilliant!

I am currently 2700 air miles away from Island Dental, sitting in Los Angeles and considering how to get my teeth cleaned by Dr. Hoke and his staff. You see, I hate the dentist, always have. I have had awful experiences in the past and feared the dentist like nonbelievers feared the rack during the Spanish Inquisition. But there I was, living in Maui for a year with a tooth that felt like I was being shot in the face every time I dared to eat. My friend told me to try Island Dental and my life changed. They pulled the tooth, fixed the damage to another tooth, and cleaned my teeth and gums with almost zero pain. I didn't even need the pain meds they prescribed me. So yeah, I'm a believer and I'm seriously thinking about whipping out the old credit card and booking a flight back to Maui for some quality dentistry. They are that nice and that skilled, folks.

I was made to feel like a part of their family, because I was given full explanation of what was going to happen, my fear was met with empathy and compassion. Dr. Duggan took extra care with my feelings and physical needs. The administration took care of explaining costs and kept in touch. I am and will be in capable hands for a very long time. Dr. Lee has helped me keep my teeth healthy . He is very good at diagnosing problems with my teeth . He gives me options to have the work on my teeth done. If it's a procedure he does not do, then he refers another dentist who can. Chantel is terric at keeping my teeth clean .
