The nurse and the doctor both explain everything about procedure and made sure I feel comfortable. Technique was excellent not like some rough experience I had in the past with other dental clinic. Iโm happy that I found this clinic

I've had the same dentist my whole life so it was difficult making the change. Everyone at Island Dental was receptive and very nice to be around. Dr. Dugan came in early to deal with my issue and I was out of there in under an hour. Plenty of parking as well as being in the heart of kahului so I could finish all of my errands right after. Change isn't always bad and in this case a good thing.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! I have been seeing Dr. John Dugan for several years now. He is absolutely the very best dentist I have ever had. He is knowledgeable and Specializes in every aspect of Dentistry with the upmost professionalism, kindness and he truly cares about his patients. I live in Maui part time and in Denver part time...He has also given me advice over the phone, when I have called regarding a dental procedure to help me feel secure and find the correct dental specialist in Denver. All the office staff greet you with a smile and warm aloha, very inviting and caring. 10/10! ๐๐พ๐๐พ My old dentist knew Iโd got a root canal done and only a temporary filling, and my wisdom teeth have been killing me; I called them just to schedule an appointment and get a quote for how much it would cost and they let 4 days go by. So I called again and they said they were working on finding out the price for four fillings... needless to say after two weeks I was over it and called Island Dental ๐ค They got me scheduled right away; even while being super busy. I came in and everyone was super nice ๐ They were only supposed to take pictures of my teeth for my first appointment, but Dr. Yeager filled my temporary filling that same day ๐๐พ๐๐พ This was probably my best dental experience and I tend to get a little anxious before going to the dentist or Doctors. Great experience end to end. Scheduling was easy, front desk and check out folks are super nice and helpful, and Jessica & Dr. Lee were very friendly, professional and fixed a chipped tooth fast and pain free. Highly recommend!

Reception and scheduling are awesome. I needed a root canal this entire time and my dentist did not spot it. I believe this is because he did not have the correct xray machine for it. Because when I went to the specialist this dentist suggested, the specialist used a totally different xray machine and immediately saw bacteria in my jaw. So I dont think its island dental's fault that they didn't know. I just think they should get an xray that can spot bacteria.

Dr. Dugan, the hygienists and the office staff are all terrific. The work is so well done and careful while they are being kind and gentle. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. It has changed my feeling about going to the dentist. I now am comfortable, calm and know everything will be taken care of beautifully.
