Really disappointed. they are super rude.. Dont know what happened to this place. Is usually pretty good. I waited till almost 4 p.m. for a 3 pm appointment and still did not get seen by the dentist. They called and confirmed my appointment at 3 and then they told me that its at 3.30. I didn't mind and waited for more then 1 hour. Rest of the people went even after my appointment.Also while in the waiting area which only had 5 chairs and more people waiting in lobby. VERY Rude, unprofessional and unpleasant.

This was my first dentist visit in over five years, and my teeth were in BAD shape. I got a much-needed cleaning, and I have to say Uzma (the hygienist) and Nicole (the dental assistant) made that cleaning not only bearable but actually fun! They made me feel so comfortable, and my teeth haven't felt this clean in years.

I'm actually excited to go back to start filling cavities thanks to the amazing women at Lakewood! Shout out to the doctor (Divya) as well - she didn't make me feel terrible about my teeth (and she easily could have) and explained everything so well. If you want the best dental experience possible, this is the place for you! And ask for Nicole, Uzma, and Divya. 😊

Every filling I have gotten here has had to be corrected. First one was jagged and second one left me with intense cold sensitivity. Every appointment I have made has had me wait 30 minutes past my time. The waiting room is tiny and always packed with people standing. The people are nice enough, but it’s an obviously overextended location with too many patients for too small of a facility.

I have had a LOT of dental work done in 50 years. The team at Lakewood dental was outstanding. I felt that Nikki, dental assistant, and Dr Divya had smooth interactions with each other while work on my crown prep. I was able to relax and feel comfortable. This is a high compliment from me.
As for the small waiting room, yes, I find it can be uncomfortable AT TIMES. However, that was mostly before two years ago, before the pandemic.

I would give zero stars if possible. My 10 year old and I both had our first appointments together. They were very busy and people were being moved through like cattle. No one in the cramped waiting area wearing masks. People sitting on the floor because there was only room for 6 chairs. At my follow-up "deep cleaning" appointment, I went to the counter and waited to ask a question while the employee worked on the computer and answered the phone. She also looked at her personal cell phone a lot. She ignored me for over 30 minutes, and when another person entered behind me, she acknowledged him right away. I left and skipped my appointment after waiting over an hour. This place is grungy, the workers don't change gloves or wash hands often enough, especially after touching things around the office and the staff is very disorganized and unprofessional. I'm guessing the people who go here are low income and don't have any other choice. I'm amazed this place stays in business.

The worst dental experience I have ever been in. I waited over an hour past my appointed time slot and then waited an additional 30 minutes in the back chair with no instruction. The dentist then showed up with no introduction of her or her name and immediately started cleaning my teeth with took her a total of 5 minutes. She then wanted to give me a filling for a cavity she saw (which I didn’t get). I visited another dental office a few weeks later and 2 of the dentists at the location assured me that I had no cavities and didn’t need a filling at all. Overall horrible experience with bad customer service and even worse doctor.

I had THE BEST experience of my entire life with a dentist at Lakewood Family Dental in Fort Wayne, Indiana today because of Doctor Joshua (I never caught his last name!) He just transferred from Illinois and WOW!!! He knew I was extremely nervous and was comedic but very professional. He was VERY thorough and talked me through everything. He explained why he was doing what he was doing as he was doing it and NEVER once was I in any pain. He made me feel like I was his only patient but I knew he was extremely busy. I will always ask for this wonderful doctor! I am so glad he transferred to this practice!! Thank you for making my experience a good one and thank you for your amazing work on my tooth that had a crack in it. It feels better than ever!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Andrea the DA was amazing , she was very helpful, communicative , kind hearted , a pleasure isn’t even the word , the best DA I ever had . No joke !
