They are very welcoming, kind, compassionate, and caring. Shelly goes above and beyond making sure that as a patient I’m well informed and taken care of well and know my different options too.

The staff is nice and friendly and they make you feel real comfortable, down to earth kind of atmosphere! Great team and Dr. Z is a wonderful dentist!

Very professional, explained all treatment plans and billing. My son says the hygienist was the best one he's been to, very gentle and nice! The atmosphere is caring and professional!

When I first started going to this office I was a little uncomfortable because I was comparing it to the office I previously went to. I really like the hygienist I have now. Thanks Shay, for all you do! The financial manager, Alycia is fantastic and works with me really well. I really like Dr Z. She is honest and doesn't try to have you paying for unnecessary work. I'm liking the office more each time I go. I highly recommend anyone looking for a dental office to try Northgate Family Dental. They are great!

After years of putting off dental work (and a week of getting the runaround elsewhere) I was able to get an appointment here within 48 hours. I came in in excruciating pain, 8 months pregnant having been told elsewhere that I needed two extractions. North gate was extremely kind and careful with examining the tooth causing pain and informed me that I actually only needed one extraction, and that the other could be saved. While they were unable to do the removal in office as it was too badly damaged they went above and beyond to be able to get me in to an oral surgeon (who previously told me the wait would be over a month long) the next day to be taken care of. A very comfortable experience coupled with the relief of finally finding a dental office with such a helpful, friendly staff that I won’t dread going back to.

Dr. Z is great. Most of the staff is wonderful too.

My caps kept falling they keep switch the dates of when my teeth will be in. No consideration that they messed up my smile more then fixed and now they denied my service

I had new partial made last November after having alot of work done. I received the partial and after a month or two it cracked. Northgate sent them to the lab and supposedly they repaired them. Same day I picked them up I got a subway sandwich for lunch and they cracked again biting into a sandwich! Forward to today 3/21/22 I had an appointment for them to fit a wax tempory to see if the fit was right before they remade the new partial. One hour before my appointment the receptionist called and said they would have to reschedule because they didn't receive the wax model. I expressed I wasn't happy because I paid for new partial in November and for the last 4 or 5 months I have been wearing my old 20 year old partial that is worn out and the reason I went there to begin with. The receptionist on the phone had an attitude and I guess she didn't want to handle a complaint. After the phone call I decided to go over and see about getting my money back for the partial I still don't have! When I arrived at the office she still had an attitude and when I asked about a refund she pulled out the drawer on her desk and said " do you see any money in this drawer?" I never asked for money just a refund for something that I haven't received so I could go elsewhere to get a partial made! They didn't like that there were customers in the office that could hear that I wasn't happy. Not my fault that is how there office is laid out! She could have offered to go to a room if they didn't want patients to hear a complaint. I finally got the number for corporate and after several calls and speaking with several people they are supposed to refund my money for the partial. They said it could take 30 days to show up in my account. Didn't take that long to take it out!!! I want to thank Scott for his help and he actually sounded like he was understanding. Dr. Z. Was great and most everyone is nice but the receptionist has an attitude if you have a complaint. I told corporate what happened and nobody seemed concerned that they were losing a customer who had spent alot of money there. Here's the best part when I was making all the calls trying to find out about a refund, the receptionist said that they approved my refund and they were dismissing me as a patient! Lol. Hopefully I will get my refund soon so I can go elsewhere to get a new partial made. I would definitely go elsewhere if you want partials made. Horrible service for a partial. And I feel most of the problem is the lab they use. There were no problems at anytime with all the work in had done but when it came to a new partial it has been a ongoing problem since the start. UPDATE: I ended up going to BRIMFIELD FAMILY DENTAL and I received excellent treatment and everyone's super nice! I had a new partial made and it fits great no problems with it breaking! I am so glad I left Northgate and went to Brimfield Family Dental! I live in Peoria and it is well worth the drive! No problems at all! I highly recommend Brimfield Family Dental!

My permanent retainer broke, I was broke and having a bad week. Northgate really made a difference in my day. Stopped to discuss all and any options with me about my treatment plan and it's costs before going through with anything. Putting my mind at peace. I have a routine appointment with them soon, and for once, I'm actually excited to go get taken care of.
