It was nice visit. Kyle is awesome in his job.
However the only complain I have is this location shows that they have Pediatric Dentist too. And that was main reason of my visit. But after getting dental cleaning and polishing I was informed that I would still need to take my daughter to Pediatric dentist as they do not have pediatric dentist. I wish I was informed earlier. Just last month I got my daughter's dental cleaning and polishing done. So it wasn't necessary in Aspen.

I made an appointment for my daughter for her kindergarten dental exam. She was super nervous as she hasn’t been to a dentist in 3 years due to us moving a lot. She wouldn’t stand still for the X-rays which the dentist said to just skip them and not force her. Then we waited in the exam room for about an hour just for the same dentist to come in and ask my daughter questions about herself that she wouldn’t answer, again cause she was nervous. This dentist told me that she didn’t have time to do her exam today since she wasn’t being corporative, even though she didn’t even try to look at her teeth, she was just going off of her not answering questions. My daughter is also very shy when it comes to strangers so of course she’s not gonna answer those questions. I felt this place was very unprofessional. It was a waste of my time to sit there for an hour just to be told that she can’t get her exam done all because she wouldn’t talk to the dentist.

I completed my Motto aligners with Aspen Dental 5/16/22. At this appointment I was scanned for a retainer that would arrive in 2 weeks. The doctor swore the retainer should have been in the box but it was not and they had my boxes in the office and gave me my new trays at every appointment. The 2 weeks came and went, the office did not receive the retainer and asked me to come in again 6/28/22. I did my scans again and they assured me it would take 2 weeks. I called after that time and the receptionist told me there was no way they could find out. Anytime I called after that, my calls would not be answered unless I used a different phone number to call from. I would leave messages and no reply. I finally talked to the Peoria, IL manager, Tanya, 8/9/22 and she said they sent the scans to Motto twice and Motto still hadn't sent them back. The doctor also left in this time frame and they had no way of accessing his email and that I was 1 of 3 patients that were having this same issue. I spoke to Tanya again 8/17/22 and she said there was nothing they could do. They could not contact Motto about the issue and they suggested I drive to Moline, IL for them to help me instead. The regional office also suggested this. I called the Moline office 8/17/22 and 8/24/22 and they didn't have my files yet from Peoria, IL location. The Moline office needs my last scan and they don't want to do new ones because they would have to charge me for new scans. This is still not resolved. Stay far away from Aspen Dental. I'm now having to contact a lawyer to figure this out because why should I have to pay more money?

The service there is great. Everyone is friendly. I don’t enjoy going to the dentist due to previous bad experiences at other places. The dental assistants help me discover why I have a painful experience getting x-rays. Dr. Marc is not from Peoria, he has a great sense of humor with awesome chairside manners. No pain, just pressure took the wisdom tooth right out. I can be a bit spoiled so I would have liked to receive copies of my paperwork with reminders of aftercare information ,warning sign symptoms. Maybe even a few pieces of extra goss and a small water for the road. Thanks to the whole Team!!!

I was absolutely terrified to go back to the dentist after having a terrible experience with another dental office. The entire staff was extremely kind and welcoming. They were gentle and very informative, and they addressed everything I needed done in one appointment. I've never looked forward to going back to the dentist but I am very excited to be a patient of theirs now!

Since I was a child, I have always been terrified to go to the dentist. Every time I've gone in for a cleaning or a filling it's been a really positive experience. Dr. Marc Thevenin, Jr. is so gentle and put me at ease. Plus the shots did not hurt! Three fillings and two cleanings later I'm a believer. No more putting off going to get the exam and any necessary work. Everybody is friendly and professional. A great experience.
