My appointment was scheduled at 10:30am, I arrived at 10:15am to fill out paperwork, did not get called to start anything until 11:15am.
My quote with my insurance was way too expensive and they want to pull alot of teeth.

*The Staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
*Dr. Alexander took her time, and explained what she believed needed to be done and why, which I truly appreciated.
*The original person who takes the "New Patients" call, was EXTREAMLY FRIENDLY, moving things along swiftly while answering ALL my questions..
* The account lady at the end, was EXTREAMLY HELPFUL, FRIENDLY while going above, and beyond to help me.
*The Hygienist and woman who completed the X-rays were AWESOME as well.
**** THE REASON FOR A RATING OF 4 INSTEAD OF.

*The estimate for a temporary / hard liner given (for TOP denture ONLY) over the phone, the quote was for the Basic line of dentures. (The quote was extreamly afforable.)
**At the end of the appt. (Accounting WITHIN the office) when receiving the cost estimate (no hidden fees - awesome), the estimate was DOUBLE, to almost TRIPLE, the original estimated quote. The estimate was written for their top of the line "comfidents" (including top and bottom) dentures, this floored me. I requested for her to re-work the estimate using only the top denture setting, which she did, and the price did drop to a more reasonable level-( but still way off from original estimate).
***When ADDING IN the cost of having 2 wisdom teeth pulled 1st, BEFORE ANYTHING (Another $1400) by an Oral Surgeon. It was an extreme amount difference when compared to what I had been informed by 1st quote. (That statement is JUST a personal note, NOT in discussion of the estimates).
****When I mentioned the difference in pricing, the idea I was left with was: there were NOT ANY temporary dentures, for the BASIC LINE. Leaving me to beieve that while waiting for bones and gums to heal, I'd walk around for 6 months WITHOUT teeth (NO WAY!! I GET HUNGRY, and would HAVE NO teeth to eat).
BUT...
*****The original price I'd been given over the phone, WAS the BASIC LINE, the price included a temporary, and a hard liner (top only). I'm in a desperate hurry to reach this goal of dentures..just a little confused. I am hoping to remedy the situation next Monday.
I've had the wisdom teeth removed already, JUST SO I CAN GET DENTURES !!
CONCLUSION:
.AWESOME STAFF, they just have given misinformation, and confusion to THIS New Patient. OH, and it was necessary to FIND ANOTHER oral surgeon to have wisdom teeth removed 😳. I just drove 800 miles to go back to where I had my bottom teeth done.
NOW, TO GET THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WITH TEETH INCLUDED 😆 !!

Worst experience of pain I have ever had with a dentist... NO care in the world about the pain, just tells u to pretend your having a baby.. then they leave u alone after that (was a surgical tooth extraction from under the gum line) for 15 minutes, blood filling up your mouth. you get up to spit it out so u don't choke, and they tell u that you can't do that, its an osha violation. please.
