Exceptional Dental of Kenner

They make you feel very comfortable, I've never liked going to the dentist. I was scared from the time I walked in. Arielle talked to me through the entire process, she never became frustrated with the 101 questions I asked. She has excellent bedside manners.The other lady who came in to go over pricing was very nice and she explained current pricing and future prices of other things I needed done. The doctor was super friendly, he made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place. I have found a new Dentist.

Today was the worst experience I have ever experienced at a dentist office! My original appointment was scheduled on Monday, but because my insurance information wasn’t verified, I had to pay out of pocket. I was upset on Monday, because I provided my insurance information the prior week and never received a call that there was an issue with my insurance being verified. Since there was an issue on Monday, I asked the front staff to give me another appointment, to allow them time to get my insurance verified. On Monday, I told them I have 2 insurances and gave them the information and said if there’s a problem to please call me and if I don’t answer to leave a voicemail. On Thursday, I got a call reminding me of my appointment on Friday. While on the phone I asked were you guys able to verify both insurances, I was told they were and that my copay is $0. Ok cool, on Friday I go to my appointment, and guess what, they never verified my second insurance. So yes at this point I’m upset because this only happened 2 times this year, but this happened more than one time last year. These people never verified my 2nd insurance and I provided them with the information this time and last year. I paid last year, and was never reimbursed and I said I would not do the same this year. They absolutely do not provide “exceptional” anything! I say bring your business elsewhere, to a place that actual listen! You have been warned!

Staff is very friendly and professional. They are very accommodating to the individual needs of their patients. You don't dread coming to this place, even though it's the dentist! They try to schedule you with the same person so you feel familiar with who you see.

The worst unprofessional place I have ever been. I had a procedure and have to come back two times because my teeth kept hurting after the procedure. My teeth are not feeling the same anymore, I cannot eat nothing crunchy because they hurt. I saw two different dentists and the problem was never solve. They kept saying come back if you not feeling better. I do not have to come back they were supposed to know what they were doing and have the job done well since the first visit!! They told me I needed a night guard that they order before the insurance approve it, now they say the insurance won't cover it and I have to paid $235.00 for a night guard. I feel robbed and very disappointed. I will never comeback to this place. I will look for real dentists that know what they are doing and I recommend people reading this review to do the same DO NOT GO TO EXCEPTIONAL DENTAL IN KENNER. THEY ARE NOT EXCEPTIONAL AT ALL!!!!!!!. I had to give a star to this post otherwise I wouldn't be able to post it but they don't deserve any star at all.

I got checked into a room soon after my arrival. Dr. Nguyen and Joslyn did an excellent job, very friendly and professional. Will be coming back for my future dental needs.

I was looking for a dentist for my husband and myself when I saw an advertisement for Exceptional Dental. We tried it out and we were both really happy with the quality of care from all of the staff. I needed a filling and it was the best time I've had getting a filling. They made sure I was comfortable by warming a hot pack for me, something small, but very nice. The prices are also affordable--with or without insurance.

I love just about everything at this dentists’ office. The rooms are clean and it’s clear customer comfort and experience is a priority, the spa-like vibe you get right when you walk in the door always helps get my chi in the right place (considering this is a DENTISTS’ OFFICE) it’s very relaxing in a traditionally anxiety ridden space. However, my favorite aspect of Exceptional Dental—that is, my favorite aside from the nineties hits they play over the air—has to be Genesis!! She seems to be everywhere and does everything! Making sure I’m comfortable in my room during my appointments, behind the front desk taking calls and answering endless questions about the Smile Plan memberships CLEARLY and HONESTLY, to confirming customer appointments. I absolutely LOVE hearing her cheery voice over the phone checking in with me or reminding me about an upcoming appointment. Oh and one more thing: if she DOESN’T know the answer to a question you have she WILL find the answer. She is resourceful, industrious, and diligent. Well done Exceptional Dental for hiring such a remarkable staff member!!!

This office has decreased their customer satisfaction efforts!! The televisions they have in the rooms (one in front and one above) so you can watch tv while you’re receiving services… have dropped cable television!! It may not seem like much but who wants to watch Judge Judy or The Price Is Right that up close and personal!?!? ALSO they were required to remove the good music from their offices!! This dumb elevator music was playing… also first thing I’m asked when I walk in and sign in is how I’ll be paying today? I pay to enroll in that Smile Plan and my visits are free unless my smile plan is up for renewal. I asked the girl if my plan had expired and she said she didn’t know?! Then why are you so up front and excited about getting paid? I haven’t even been seen yet?!

If you need dental work or just maintenance. This place is like there name in my opinion, EXCEPTIONAL!

This morning was my first visit to Exceptional Dental Kenner. After suffering excruciating dental pain over the weekend, I called Exceptional Dental at the recommendation of a neighbor. They were very professional on the phone, took my information and scheduled me an appt within 24 hrs. Upon arrival this morning, the front office staff were all professional, accommodating, helpful and delivered outstanding customer service. The Techs were all professional, friendly and comforting. Dr Landry and the dental assistant were outstanding, comforting, and friendly. They kept informed throughout both extractions and the procedures were basically painless. The charges are minimal and my out of pocket after insurance was discussed prior to my procedures so there was no surprise. THIS WAS AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE WITH A DENTAL OFFICE. THANK YOU EXCEPTIONAL DENTAL KENNER! EVERYONE IN YOUR OFFICE IS TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!!!!
