Loved my visit. Staff made me feel comfortable, Doctor was excellent. So glad I chose this practice for my dental care.

What a great dentist, and the staff was out standing, I would recommend people looking for a GREAT DENTIST STOP IN AT FLINT OFFICE near YOU..

Had great service up until I had to pay 100% of crown work because what I was quoted was not based on a preauthorization. $2000 out of pocket. Then I was quoted for an implant for which I called insurance myself and found that the implant wasn't covered. That would have been over 3k had I not followed up. To top it all off, I took time off work for my appt and the dentist was 30 mins late... I will never go back.

My insurance company said this place was in network, so I gave it a shot. I hate going to the dentist but to my surprise this time really wasn't that bad. The staff is very friendly & down to earth. The dr explained everything well and was very respectful and listened to me as a patient. Will be going back and I would definatly recommend them as well. 👍

Here is my not so great experience at New You Dental to the best of my recollection: At the beginning of December, I had a toothache and reached out to New You Dental to look at it. The office manager was friendly and was able to work me into their schedule that day. After my appointment, the dentist said I needed two teeth extracted. We scheduled the extractions for Monday, December 13th. This procedure took about an hour and a half. The Dentist informed me that I had some sharp jawbone sticking out, which would cause some issues with my tongue. He told me there was nothing he could do about it since it could cause a nerve issue and that I would need to live with it. On December 15th, the pain was so severe that I called New You Dental, and again the office manager was friendly and worked me in to see the Dentist that day. The Dentist looked at my mouth and said everything was normal. I mentioned how the bone sticking out from my jaw was very painful and was slicing into my tongue. Again, he informed me there was nothing I could do about it and that I had to live with it. On December 17th, I was in excruciating pain and couldn’t call myself, so my wife did. The office manager was able to work me in with another Dentist since the previous one wasn’t in. He told me that I had dry sockets and put clove oil in both extractions and said that would help with the pain. He took an X-ray of the area where my bone was sticking out, and after reviewing, he attempted to smooth the sharp piece of bone down. He told me if it didn’t feel better to come back. Although he tried to smooth out the bone, it was still slicing my tongue and causing pain. By Monday the 20th, I was in even more pain than I had been in throughout this entire ordeal. My wife called New You Dental and got me in to see the Dentist that day. The Dentist (the original dentist who pulled the teeth) looked at it, said there was nothing he could do, and referred me to an Oral Surgeon. I was able to get in to see the Oral Surgeon that day and finally received answers. The oral surgeon said that there were pieces of bone that were necrotic (dead) and a localized infection. He was livid with what the original dentist had done and said it was not the first time he’s had to deal with patients from New You Dental. He said that he would have to go in and do a cleanout of the bone. This surgery would require me to be put to sleep as it would be too painful to deal with otherwise so we scheduled it later that week, and I was prescribed antibiotics and stronger pain medication. True to the oral surgeon’s word, he took care of New You Dental’s mistakes and fixed the damage that they could not. After four miserable weeks, I finally feel relief and am on the road to recovery. Considering my NOT VERY GOOD experience with New You Dental corporate style of Dentistry, I strongly suggest you consider other qualified dentist's options before having any dental work done there.

Today's visit with the hygienist was amazingly gentle and professional. I was very impressed no pain and i complimented her immediately. As it turns out this was not my first visit as insurance changes so does the dental team. I was able to see Dr. John Zabloki who gently talked me through getting (2) shots in the upper to knock out (5) cavities.The numbness was surprisingly gone by the time I got home and my mouth was not sore a plus. So thank you for giving me your gentle care today dental team.

Ok, so I am such a baby when it comes to the dentist, but let me tell you, this place is amazing! The staff is so warm and welcoming and professional! I am so glad I made the leap! Thank you New You!!

Worst experience I've ever had at a Dental Office. I was checked in and forgotten about in the waiting room for half an hour with no other patients waiting. I was there for a consult for implants and to continue my Dental care. The Dentist who performs the implants had moved out of state and they do not not have a doctor there to perform the service they had advertised . I was then charged $50 when I already have insurance. Then told by the office manager I would receive a call which i never received. 2 weeks later i reached out needing to set up an appointment and no one ever called me for my treatment plan. I was told she would look into it and call me back within the hour and never did. Horrible patient care!

I have always had a great fear of dentists, due to unfortunate circumstances with a bad dentist. However, I made an appointment with New You Dental, and the whole procedure was quite pleasant. I had an extraction and multiple fillings done by Dr. Shin and he was amazing. I felt no discomfort AT ALL. Also, the whole staff is very friendly and understanding. I highly recommend EVERYONE to visit New You Dental.

I have horrible anxiety going to the dentist. It was my first time here and every single person that I encountered during my visit was so friendly! I’m sorry that I waited so long to go now. I highly recommend this place!!!!!
