I had a great experience at Aspen Dental in Washington, MO.
Everyone was friendly and I felt very comfortable. I made the right choice in going there. I have dental insurance, but I was pleased and surprised to hear that everything on my first visit was FREE. Pretty great!
The Dentist was very kind and gave me several opportunities to ask questions. I trust that everyone there will give me the best of care.

The staff seemed nice. I went in with a lot of pain. They did x-rays and a bunch of fancy test. Told me how it was going to cost me to get my teeth deep cleaned and crowns on two other teeth and to get them deep cleaned ever 3 months. Not worried about the crowns right now. Just really was hoping to get a regular cleaning and pain relief. I walked out still in incredible pain and a prescription for antibiotics. More than 24 hours later and in constant pain now. They did however have a lot of patience with getting my insurance info. Going for a second opinion next week.

If you want your mouth ruined and your credit ruined as well. Try Aspen. The immediate set of dentures did not even fit my lower jaw. The outside edge of denture sat upon freshly pulled teeth dockets causing bone damage. Then they tried to give me a better set. Worse fit. So I filed a grievance with insurance and returned dentures. They waited 1 month and rebilled my insurance so now I cannot finish getting dentures from MIDWEST DENTAL. So now I'm without any working teeth and cannot follow doctors diet because I can't chew the foods I need to eat to maintain said diet. These people work too fast and do not check anything properly. It took dentist at MIDWEST DENTAL. 2 HOURS to mold my lower jaw from deformation caused by ASPEN FENTALS non fitting dentures. I tell you they will try to make YOUR MOUTH fit their dentures

I filled out all personal information prior to my 1115 appt. I had to wait till 1145 but then got in. No one looked at my insurance card or discussed what the appt fee will be which I thought was odd. Most offices check your insurance and want a copay before you go in. They just told me on the phone to just come in and bring my insurance card. I got all my xrays done despite having a small mouth and partially dislocated jaw so I couldnt open it further. Two staff worked with me to get them done. Everyone was very nice and very professional. I never had a cavity and always saw a regular dentist so I just went there because Aspen is covered for my dental cleanings on my insurance card. I knew my gums were receeding and teeth sensitive to cold. I had no inflamed gums. I was really surprised I had gingivitis and needed a lot of scaling and planing done. Found out it will be like $3000. I wasnt happy about it but dont want dentures or heart disease so I think my health is worth it. My insurance only covered like $300 so I plan to buy more dental insurance to help cover it. Im very thankful they told me what can be done. Wish I found them ten years ago.

Would not prescribe ANTIBIOTICS for a tooth infection after going through the exam/x-ray process. Was told to get an extraction or root canal when I can't because I am going out of town. I know these big box places are all about money and it's a shame they have lost their patient focus. Hippocratic oath right out the window. Go to a smaller office and receive better care.

Very pleasant and informative team! I have a fear of the dentist, like most people, and my first appointment went well. Even though I need to get some extensive work done they made me feel comfortable and didn't look down on me, but gave me great options and were very kind. I would highly recommend coming here!

The Washington, MO Aspen Dental office has THE BEST staff I have EVER experienced. My service was so fast! They always made sure there was time for me and treated me like I was the only patient they had. Even if one of the employees didn't have to tend to me, they still stopped in to say hi and ask how I was. Dr. A is the BEST dentist. The BEST. I will never go anywhere else or see any other dentist. She pulled my teeth and put in an u per denture and it looks SO GOOD! Joe made my denture look so nice that you can't tell they aren't my real teeth! Dr. A did such a good job that I am healing beautifully without problems. I was already tackling solid food on day three because she did such a good job that I was comfortable enough and strong enough in the healing process to handle some of it. They're explanatory, non-judgemental, and just great people to have in your life, in general. I trust them for my oral care and the oral care of my family and YOU NEVER HAVE TO WAIT! Thank you to that team of professionals!

Team was welcoming, informative and just so happy. Making my painful day a little easier. I love that they were not pushy and gave me all my options as well.

This place is all about money. I had a tooth pulled and the aftermath is horrible. They triggered a severe attack of my trigeminal neuralgia. They butchered my jaw and may have fractured my jaw bone. I don't know because I called Monday for a follow up and they said it would be Friday before I could be seen. I showed up Friday and the girl said my appointment was the following Wednesday. 12 days after my procedure. I have had a trip planned for two months which I leave for on Wednesday so no way I made that mistake. My advice dont go to Aspen Dental in Washington MO.

I took both of my daughters to this location. When I called to schedule the appointment I told them both girls needed a cleaning and both thought they had a cavity. I requested only services that would be covered by our dental insurance (we have 2 dental plans). The day before the appointment I receive a call and was told that they would not get cleaning or treatment during the first visit. Had I known that in the beginning I would have went elsewhere. I have never had a dentist who would not at least do the cleaning during the initial appointment. At the appointment the staff informs me both girls have gingivitis and would need a special cleaning. Same question, is it covered by the insurance plans. I was told yes. Go out to check out ad schedule next visit for cleanings and 1 child needed a tooth pulled and the other needed a cavity filled. Estimate is over $400 after both plans. I ask again, are they being given treatments covered by our insurance. I was again told yes. Go in for the next visit and pay the bill but told they cannot give me an itemized receipt for my HSA until later in the day but would email it to me. After visit my daughter who had the tooth pulled says she told them numerous times she could feel everything after the numbing agent and they proceeded. Now she has pain in another tooth where they anchored the tool to pry o the broken one. Both girls complaining of pain from the cleaning. While sitting in the office I hear numerous conversations with patients and it seems EVERYONE has gingivitis and needs the "special cleaning". Several people complaining of being overcharged. When we got home I googled gingivitis. It is a pretty gnarly issue and I do not believe my children had it. Finally get the itemized receipts in my inbox and see that most of what they charged me IS NOT covered by insurance. No one told me there would be $132 in product (pastes, mouthwash, toothbrush, etc) given to them that I was paying out of pocket for. $136 in other fees that were not being submitted to either insurance plan. Then I see a column that shows I am due a refund of $104.20 and when I add everything up realize they did overcharge me form what the totals add up to on the bill. So I paid $407.80 total for both girls and really should have only paid $35.60 if they would have done as I told them and only performed services covered by the insurance. The day after I called the office and asked to speak with someone about the charges. I requested to return the unopened items for a refund since I was not given the option of purchasing them. I also asked about the $136 in charges that were not submitted to insurance. I was told that they would get the charges submitted and ask the hygienist about the product and call me right back. It's a good thing I didn't hold my breath becasue they never called. It has been 9 days since the last visit and we were due for part 2 of the cleaning today. I have cancelled the appointments because both girls are STILL in pain! I will find a dentist and hygienist that are concerned with actually caring for the patient and not just the money they can scam out of them. I will give them 15 more days for the dental claims to process and if I have not been issued a refund for the over-payment on the services I will be contacting the office. If I am still not refunded I will contact my insurance carriers and the BBB.
I attempted to leave this review on their website but received an error. It is convenient that the error only pops up when you select NO when asked "were you satisfied with your visit?"
