Familia Dental

I was having a dental emergency and they were so kind. The receptionist was able to get me in the same day. The lady who took me back was so kind she did my x-ray and then the dentist was quick to see me and he suggested to do an extraction and he arranged his schedule so he could do the procedure a little later that same day. When I came back for the procedure the dentist has a great bed side manner. Throughout the procedure he checked on me to make sure I was doing ok. He’s very kind and so are all of the dental techs working there, I’m sorry I don’t remember names I was very nervous at the time but each member of their team I talked to was so kind that it helped me to be calm and everything went smoothly. Definitely professional and very kind and caring.

I appreciated the care I received at Familia Dental! They were very understanding and informative to my husband and I. The young lady at the front desk really helped me understand my husbands coverage (or lack thereof) and some alternatives.
Also, I had not visited a dentist in some time so I was embarrassed by the condition of my teeth. Julia relieved my anxiety about this by being very caring and compassionate which made me feel more comfortable.
The dentist did a great job cleaning my teeth they feel amazing! Looking forward to returning for additional care. ☺️

Dr. Allen and Bree were amazing! They made sure my daughter was comfortable before extracting her tooth. She said it was painless! Our appointment was at 5:00 and we were out of there by 5:30! Thank you so much for all of your hard work!

I really appreciate everyone who was involved in mine and my daughters visit yesterday. As a mom of little infants it’s hard to get things done but the staff was very kind and understanding toward me and my two year old daughter. Thank you all for helping me have good mouth health not only by doing the required work but for helping me keep my daughter calm throughout the process.

I went in as a new patient. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I was called in fairly quickly. The dental hygienist was nice (I’m not sure what her name was). Dr. Allen was amazing! I’ve always been scared of the dentist and she made me feel very comfortable. I hadn’t gone in a while so I was convinced my teeth would be in terrible condition. Dr. Allen reassured me I was taking care of my teeth properly and said they were beautiful. She answered any questions I had and asked multiple times if there were any other questions. I truly enjoyed my visit.

My appointment went very well and everyone was pleasant to work with on that day. Dr. Le and I made plans to pull all of my teeth and get dentures on the 21st on November, 2022.

I have a problem with the front office employees in reference to this appointment. I was given an estimate of what the estimate would be for these procedures. When I looked at the estimate I explained I should not have to pay the amount listed because I had extra dental insurance. The lady said well that is all that comes up. I asked if they could call the insurance to verify the extra coverage with them and I was told no. So I told them I would call the insurance company myself, which I did. My insurance company told me to have them fax an estimate to them so they could look it over and make sure everything was priced correctly.

On 11-07-22, I took the fax number in to the office and told them that my insurance wanted them to fax a copy of the estimate for them to check. The lady at the front desk told me that she wasn’t allowed to do it but would give it to the office manager when she got back from lunch. I then left.

On 11-10-22, I stopped in to make sure the fax was sent. I was advised by the office manager that it had not been sent because they needed the name of a person to fax it to. I asked her why I had not been called and told this so I could get the information she needed? I was told they didn’t do that. I then asked if they could not fax the estimate to the dental department and was again told no they needed a name! I asked her if she could have called the insurance company and again was told no!
I told her I was sure glad I stopped in on this day or I would not have known the fax had not been sent.

I was pretty upset at this time. I looked at the office manager and told her she would be hearing from me in less than 30 minutes and walked out. I went to my car and called my insurance company and got the information in less than 5 to 10 minutes and took it in to the office manager. I have never had any business tell me I had to call my own insurance to get information that the business I am giving my business to refuses to get or even notify the patient of what information they need. I was also told that they were not seeing the extra insurance on my dental.

To me this was very unprofessional

I had a tooth extracted. The dentist was good about making sure I was as comfortable as possible. The staff made sure that I knew what I could and couldn't eat. It would have been nice if they had told me how to care for the space and where I could get a syringe to help keep the area clean. I had to call the office to find out that information.

Our visit to the dentist at FamiliaDental was ok. I feel like we waited forever, way past our scheduled appointment time. I also didn't feel like they were very clean or sanitary - not like I thought they would be considering the risks of covid and all the germs dealing with everyone's mouths. The doctor was nice but again, I felt the assistants rushed through the teeth cleaning process and could have taken a little more time if that meant I had to sit there a little longer just so they be as rough as they were just getting a cleaning done. Overall, I give this dental office on a scale of 1 to 10 - a 6.

I loved my dental cleaning and filling at Familia Dental. Dr. Lee and Jamie were both so patient with me and took great care in numbing me with my fear of needles. I will definitely be visiting with them in the future. Staff is very kind and patient from arrival to exit. Choose Familia!!

No one enjoys dental work. But I do not mind going to the dentist. I have a female dentist who is so very kind and concerned about my pain level and my level of comfort. During the dental process she continues to check on me. I would highly recommend Familia Dental
