Very pleased with care and staff were all very nice and friendly

Staff and Dr. were excellent. Was in need of a quick appointment due to a problem I was having and they were able to accommodate me. they were able to give me a price on what my insurance didn’t cover right away before they did any work. This place is amazing and I will go back. very professional.

The entire office are professional and very personable The office is neat and well organized.

Dr Malone and her assistant are always amazing and with all the issues with my teeth and being a diabetic, I am treated with every precaution, every visit.

Never going back, Dr. Loumeau perforated my sinus and sent me elsewhere for repair.
Traumatized

Unfortunately I cant speak to the quality of care by the dentist because upon my arrival I realize that the receptionist in this very small office was not wearing a mask. I told her that I wasn't comfortable going to a dentist where the employees didn't wear masks, especially when there is a state mask mandate in place due to high community spread, and she promptly cancelled my appointment. I'm very disappointed as I've waited a while to feel comfortable enough to go to the dentist but if a practice is condoning this behavior which is in violation of state law I can't imagine what else they are comfortable with letting slide.

If you want quality and kindness during a dental appointment, go to Santa Fe Family Dentistry and Orthodontics. I have been there twice and hope my insurance for next year includes this group as "in-plan." Dr. Loumeau proved to be a miracle worker by fixing a mess in my mouth, and having the patience to deal with me and my questions. He also made some good suggestions, explained the alternatives, and stayed positive. Adam, the very up-beat hygienist, painlessly cleaned my teeth, and also explained things as he went through the process. That was yesterday and my gums are NOT sore today; plus, he did the best cleaning job I have ever had. Jeannette, the dental assistant, appeared to be adept at her job and seemed positive as well as kind. Dennis, the office manager, was outstanding as well. He was soft-spoken, extremely kind, and very accommodating and efficient. I cannot imagine this man ever being hostile to a patient; perhaps firm about charges/ payments because that is part of his job, but not nasty. All dentists charge fees, and this group seems reasonable to me, compared to what I have paid to others in the past for lower quality work. Give Santa Fe Family Dentistry and Orthodontics a try. You just might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

Dentists are overbooked and inattentive. It’s unsettling to come in multiple times in a few weeks with extraordinary pain and an infection, to only get to spend less than 10 minutes with the dentist after listening to him jump rapidly between patients. And after the visit, don’t expect to receive a follow up call, even when they are promised.

In the office, waits are always long, from the moment you walk in to when you’re seated. In the several visits over the last month, I most certainly spent equal or more time waiting than actually being treated. I found the care to be subpar and neglectful. Seek compassionate, attentive care elsewhere.

One positive note, the hygienists and assistants were always very friendly.

Let me start this review by saying, the dentist and I have never been friends. Ever. That changed with SFFD&O. The receptionists are friendly and efficient - they made making an appointment incredibly easy, and even as a new patient, they were able to get me in within a few days of my initial call to them. My X-rays were quick and painless. The technician was very efficient and explained each step. Adam, the dental hygienist that did my cleaning was absolutely wonderful. He was thorough, detailed in his explanations, patient and my cleaning was pain free, despite significant build up on my teeth. My 7 year old son was with me and everyone was so kind to him and made him feel welcome. Dr. Donoghue was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a way that made sense. This is a dentist’s office that doesn’t push unnecessary work and is just pleasant start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with my visit!

Nice office with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Their dental hygienist is so gentle, he also shows you what is going on with your teeth.
