This was my 1st visit and I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and thorough everyone in the office were. My situation was fairly complicated and with my exrays Glenda explained every detail. I needed a tooth removed and Dr. Kathalyn Malone squeezed me in her busy schedule the very same day.
I had no referral and just lucked out to find a great dentist.

I've had many dentists over the years and found Dr. Donoghue was probably one of the very best I've seen. He was so gentle, kind and explained everything to me. After not going to a dentist for many years, I took the leap and went to SF Family Dentistry. They understood my intense fear of sitting in a dentist's chair (residual effects of bad dental experiences when I was young) and did absolutely everything to make me feel ok....everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist himself....The visit was painless and pleasant and I felt silly for being so afraid. I could not have asked for a better experience...AND I will be going back every 6 months 😉

I did not have a good experience here. 6 months later my re-capped molar is still very sensitive., I was not able to eat on that side of my mouth for over 4-months.The office space where the dentist works on patient's is very noisy and not very comfortable at all. I would strongly advise against going here. I am sorry I ever went there, for me it was a real bad stroke of luck. Not to mention the dental technician glued my temporary crown on with permanent cement. Another nightmare just to get it off, very traumatic. They also never followed up on paying me the $100 back that they took when they couldn't find the proper insurance codes for my dental work. The next day they found the codes but no money back or any word about it after asking the office people a minimum of 4 times...Stay clear...
