The Asheville Smile Center is truly the best in its class. As a patient, I have never received the level of quality care, over-all satisfaction, and WOW factor that I experienced here. If you continue reading, you will learn why I am inspired to recommend them to anyone and everyone in the surrounding area.

When I walked in the door, Taylor at the front desk welcomed me with a genuine smile and took me a tour of the dental office. She introduced me to a group of hygienists who were so friendly and bubbly, I felt like I was in the presence of close friends.

Then she showed me the massage chairs and told me about the complimentary aromatherapy treatments, which they provide to help patients kickback and relax in during treatments - I went with the lavender oil and was blown away.

My hygienist, Melissa, really got to know me as a person - not just as a patient - and she did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth. Melissa also took Xrays of my teeth, which is something I've never enjoyed.

Most dentists make you chomp down on those uncomfortable awkward plastic film holders. To capture every angle, they make you repeat the process several times. So you end up drooling all over yourself in pain, with only a fleeting moment of relief in between slides.

I'm writing this, because I HAVE TO TELL YOU; those nettlesome xrays, previously mentioned, do not inflict their wrath on sensitive gums and jaws at The Asheville Smile Center. NO! They aren't able to do so, because they do not exist there. This office has a machine of the future!

I'm going to break it down simply; you stand freely and bite down on a comfortable dented strip which is suspended at your mouth level; then the xray machine circulates around your head, capturing all the angles in one exciting swoop. The process is not painful in the least, and you honestly feel like you're in Star Trek.

After my cleaning, I met with Dr. Hernandez. He was super nice and very informative. He made me feel like I was in great hands. I also found out that he and his wife are responsible for many of the creative and generous amenities the office provides (although, I'm sure there are other awesome people involved in that as well)

I departed with the usual tooth brush and floss, but with an added bonus of mouth wash and two flavors of lip balm! AND WAIT THERE's MORE! Because it was my first appointment, I also received a surprise gift ; it was one of those extra fancy, expensive whitening kits. (Thank you again!!!) I also participated in multiple giveaways and raffles that boast an array of different prizes.

I will conclude with one last thought: Everyone feels joy when they give goodness to others, so it makes sense why everyone at The Asheville Smile Center is happy and friendly. But I know there is more going on here.

Taylor, Melissa, Dr. Hernandez, and the whole staff are in general extraordinary people. My experience as a consumer and my work in customer service industry, allow me to confidently say that, they are the best-of-the-best and the most desirable people to work with in their field. Their warm personalities and authenticity involve character qualities that you cannot train.

What's remarkable and what inspired this review, is how apparent it is that they all love what they do, and they are proud and happy to share their service.

The positive energy in that office is contagious, and I left feeling uplifted and enriched. I took the time to write this review, because I want you readers out there to reap the same benefits I did.

What a great 1st impression and experience...and at a dentist's office! The entire visit is geared around the patient. Happy, well-trained staff and a truly interested Doctor/ founder Chris Port. Some of the SWEETEST people I've ever met work here. I was super worried about going in because it had been a LONG time since I had a dentist appointment. They were super non-judgemental and friendly and gave me great advice. Would definitely recommend coming here if you haven't already.

Everyone is so upbeat, happy and also very professional. The office and all equipment is state of the art. Dr. Port is personality plus, with a gentle chairside manner. They stop at nothing to make you feel comfortable, as well as pain and anxiety free. Their promos and contests are fun and engaging!

ASC is a lovely facility and the whole experience was great. Dr Kory Garretson and Chasity Henry, CDA were professional, pleasant and engaged in my experience. The reception team made my insurance contact quickly and were also very sweet. Great location and good parking. Highly recommend!

I am a 66 year old woman that has always been embarrassed of my smile-missing, crooked and discolored teeth over the years have impacted my self esteem. I have always put the needs of my five children first-dental and otherwise but have finally found the time and resources to do this for myself. Dr. Port has worked with me financially and has really inspired me to get this work done for myself. Dr. Port and Lisa (dental assistant) made me feel comfortable, relaxed and confident in the entire teams ability and desire to transform my smile. This is a top notch establishment that truly cares about it's patients. I couldn't recommend it more!
