I had a great experience with ASC from the first phone call to when I walked out the door. They have a great inhouse dental care plan for you if you don’t have dental insurance that was reccommended to me and it is less expensive than traditional insurance.

I called to set up a cleaning and expected to have to wait a couple of weeks at least and they were able to get me in on the same day that l called. The front office staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful when l arrived. Elizabeth, my dental hygentist, was great! She made me feel comfortable and at home through the entire process and didn’t guilt me for not flossing every day. She explained everything she was doing in a way that was easy to understand and the entire cleaning process was painless. And finally, after everything was done they even offered me cookies!

If you need a dentist, go to Asheville Smile Center. They are great!

I don't know that I can really 'love' going to the dentist but everyone at Asheville Smile Center has been wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smiling face. My hygenist was very friendly and put me right at ease, and Dr Hernandez was very personable and also made me very comfortable

If you're looking for a dentist, stop. You have found your new place!! I was recommended to this practice as I am new to the area. Boy, my friend was right! This place is phenomenal. Asheville Smile Center has it all figured out! From their facility tour, exceptional staff, relaxing environment, calming essential oils, to free cookies at the end of your visit.. I really love this dental office!!! And I would know from working in dentistry for 20 years/ this place is awesome. They remind me of an office in Florida where I really wanted to work but no one ever quit!!!! They are super friendly. Very knowledgeable and take their time with you - not just bring you in and shove you out. And of course there’s the cookies!!!! I wish I would have found them sooner🥰

A trip to Dr. Port’s office is a pleasure.
I have moved around a lot during my life and I have had many dentists. I can say without any doubt that Dr. Port is the best hands down. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; the office is clean and bright. All the equipment is state of the art and the dental work is perfect. Dr. Port always explains exactly what’s going on and gives you honest opinions about the best treatment options.

I am so happy with my dentist! Dr. Port and all his staff have taken such good care of me over this past year. I needed some work done initially and they were very accommodating. Last week, I had an old crown fall off. (why does that always happen on a Friday evening?) I didn't need immediate attention so I called and left a message to see if they could fit me in sometime. I received a call first thing Monday morning with two options for that day. Even while fitting me into a busy day, Dr. Port and his staff never made me feel like they needed to rush me through. He is always concerned about my comfort and does a wonderful job. Thank you Asheville Smile Center and if you are needing a dentist, come try MINE!

I was very pleased with my experience at Asheville Smile Center. Everyone from the receptionist to the hygeinist and Dr. Port were incredibly friendly and calming. The office is lovely, clean and welcoming, with completely state of the art equipment. I had a thorough exam and cleaning by the hygeinist. Dr. Port was so nice! I find some medical professionals to be condescending in tone, but this was not the case at all with Dr. Port. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and address them fully. I recommend Asheville Smile Center and Dr. Port as a high quality dental care.

Their calm and personable service includes all the amenities needed for the most relaxing visit (down to the aromatherapy treatment, fresh cookies, prizes and freebies along the way to take home. Their trusting Doctor's and hygienists showed patience and gentleness each step of the way. There was no tenderness or soreness after my visit. I will definitely be returning for my follow up appnt in 2 weeks! Highly recommended, especially if you fear the dentist 💕
