I normally do not write reviews, but I think when one is due it must be written. My husband and I are attending this office for dental care. From the time you enact with James the receptionist it only continues to get better. The information that is relayed to the patients are accurate and precise. I have worked as a Benefits Analysts, but have retired for years now. Individuals who are not educated will struggle with understanding the verbiage. But, for those individuals who don't, I don't believe it cannot be explained any clearer. Also, I like that fact that there are no surprises on the patients financial responsibility. The practice is clean the atmosphere is all together a plus. The process and staffing was much thought of when they were hired. it is obvious in the staff and their kindness. Now, Dr. Fonda Smith-Strickland, she is amazing. She definitely knows what she is doing. Normally, the numbing medicine is painful, the pinch that we all dislike but, honestly I did not feel anything at all. She is a professional and also the education and other solutions she gives based on each individual case. I didn't even feel anything afterwards. My husband and I will patronize her establishment until we leave the country. For every problem Dr. Smith-Strickland has a resolution. She is AWESOME!! Dr. Fonda Smith-Strickland thank you for the education and resolutions you have provided on my husband and I on our dental care.

The first appointment I had with this office for my cleaning was wonderful. The hygienist and dentist were very kind and helpful. The following two appointments I had for fillings and then a tooth extraction were terrible. Dr. Strickland has terrible chair side manners and made me feel like I was nothing but an inconvenience to her. The dentist isn't a place anyone looks forward to going to and she made the experience much worse. I will not be going back to omni dental and I would not recommend this office.

I had an appointment with the location. They called me to cancel. No big deal, I setup an earlier time the same day. Day of the appointment, they don’t call and cancel, they sent me a text msg and cancelled. I call them after they did this still willing to reschedule, but nobody answers the phone. However, I do get an immediate text response. I respond via text and advise them about getting a message my appointment was cancelled. They really text me back stating I didn’t confirm. Why would I confirm an appointment I already have, on top of that why wouldn’t you call me before cancelling my appointment. The biggest kicker is the mysterious person I’m texting with proceeds to offer an appointment the next day a Tuesday, which I could not make. I respond by requesting a Monday the next week, the same day of week I originally had. I got no response what so ever. It was a very unprofessional. They have two stars, instead of one, because they were nice enough on previous visits. I can’t recommend any business who displays so little concern for customers and honoring appointments.

The office staff is always helpful in every way. They make sure to explain the bill if I have any questions. And the staff is always professional and willing to help me not feel bad about having to come in for a visit. They make sure I feel valued as a patient. Highly recommend this office.

After moving to Greensboro back in 2009, I had a difficult time finding a dentist that I was happy with! So much so, that I continued to travel back to the Raleigh/Durham area to see my old dentist! When I saw this office open near my home, I thought I'd give them a try. I am so pleased with Dr Strickland and her staff! They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! My entire family are now new patients of theirs and a close friend! I've finally found my dentist!!!

Horrible experience the dentist tried to pull my teeth and because she did not inject the novocaine directly into the nerve my mouth was not numbed. She gave me about 8 injections total. I felt all of it as she took pliers and pulled my tooth back and fourth. I finally cried out in pain and she stopped, treated me unkindly I was blamed for this stating I should have taken her advice and gone to an oral surgeon so that they could put me under anesthesia. I even apologized to her at the time thinking it was my fault. I have had my prior dentist for years and he has pulled two molars with no problem. (He is semi retired now) I went to the oral surgeon the next day he did not put me under anesthesia he numbed it properly giving me 4 injections and the tooth came out in less than 2 minutes. I have spoken to my previous dentist as well as the oral surgeon and it was confirmed that my experience with this dentist was due to incompetence on her part. If you are a dentist and can't inject the nerves in a patent's mouth correctly something is definitely wrong! I was also overcharged by $200 they insisted I pay everything up front and if I hadn't called my dental insurance I would have not known this. They charged me for a procedure that was not even scheduled or performed. Then I had to go pick up a refund check and work around their hours which were difficult since they close at either 4 or 2. Could they not have mailed it to me?? I have now transferred to another dentist and they have also indicated that this was a unprofessional experience to say the least.

All my life I have always been so terrified of dental and medical offices. I’ve had dentist prescribe me medicine to take before my appointments just to calm my nerves. I never thought I would be looking forward to coming back for a biannual appointment, but I had such an amazing experience at OmniDental today that I can’t wait for my next visit. Jerry at the front desk was very reassuring, and Diana was an amazing hygienist—probably the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She walked me through everything step by step and took amazing care of me. I usually shake when I get cleanings, but she had me so at ease. Dr. Strickland was so warm and personable, as well. Thank you Omni Dental staff for permanently relieving me of my phobia!!

I love Omni Dental!!! I Always have a great experience from the time I walk in the door until I walk out!!! Dr. Strickland is the best! I love her chair side manner! Always friendly. Always supportive. I live that she takes the conservative way when I comes to recommending care. The staff is super nice

I would not go back to this dentist, ever. This was my #1 worst experience of 2020. I needed a crown on my front tooth in the beginning of November. I had to pay the entire amount before I even had an appt to do the drilling. That was ok. I was told the temporary tooth was plastic so don't eat anything chewy, gooey, sticky or hard. The temporary fell off while brushing my teeth a few days later, the night before Thanksgiving. The root is very sensitive and painful without the tooth on so I went and got crown repair at the drug store because i knew i had an appt with the dentist in a few days. They cancelled my next 2 appts, then called me right before xmas holiday and said they had an appt in 1 hour or january 15th. That's it. No other choices. I lost it. I couldn't be there in an hour and I certainly could not wait until Jan 15. I ended up gutting it out until I couldn't and emailed the office NYD night that I either needed my permanent tooth put on or I wanted to pick it up and have it put on somewhere else because the temporary had permanently come off. They offered to come in the next morning and put my temporary back on. I no longer had the temporary so they agreed to put the permanent crown on. When i got there at 8am Sat morning they wanted a payment of $65 they said was past due. I told them i had no idea I owed anything, no one ever said anything before and that i would have to pay afterward because I did not bring any form of payment. After my tooth was put on and I was in the parking lot leaving, the dentist came out and wanted the $65. I again said i didn't bring any payment because I didn't know. I left with Dr. Stickland telling me she was calling the police on me to get the $65. I went home and got a credit card and checks but the office had closed by the time i got all the way back. I will pay the $65. The ENTIRE experience was outrageous and all the stress and anxiety it caused me was totally unnecessary.

If I could leave a zero star rating I would. I was billed by the dentist and when I reached out on several occasions, no one could explain what the balance was for. I even had to text to receive a response. Now it appears on my credit after being told it would be removed. I have yet to hear anything back as to why I was billed or a returned phone call.
