Timber Dental

My first time visiting Timber Dental was amazing and I would highly recommend! Heidi was the sweetest and was very caring and respectful. Visiting a dentist during Covid felt a little scary but Timber Dental is doing a wonderful job keeping their staff and clients safe. So happy to have found them!

I’ve been going to Timber Dental for a few years. My dental hygienist Hannah was always so detailed, so I was a little nervous to have someone new. I wanted to stay with my same dentist. Heidi was really efficient and Dr. Garcia is always professional and thorough. Friendly reception and the new lobby/waiting area looks great!

I have bad anxiety about going to the dentist and Timber Dental has always made me feel comfortable each and every time I’ve gone in and worked with me every step of the way. I’ve been going here for a couple years now and the amazing dentist that I started with is no longer there and I was a bit worried going forward without her. But, I decided to keep going and have now been treated by both Dr. McKay and Dr. Falbo and they were both wonderful. They explained everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions and we very kind and caring. All of the hygienists I have worked with have been fantastic as well and make the cleaning process a breeze. The front office staff here is great too—big thanks to Chris for always being on top of everything! They also offer a dental savings plan if you don’t have insurance and it helps to save on almost all services. I would definitely recommend Timber Dental and Dr. McKay and Dr. Falbo.

The staff was very friendly and it was nice being able to watch Netflix during my appointment! The cleaning itself went fine and I felt like everything was explained throughly. I was frustrated though because even though there's a spot on the forms for pronouns, the hygienist I worked with didn't use my pronouns at all and misgendered me the whole time. I'm not sure if she didn’t read that section or what, but it was disappointing and upsetting for me and I wish pronoun usage was more front and center in the practice. That being said I would still recommend going here because my experience was otherwise pleasant.

I just completed my first appointment and couldn’t be happier. I get really stressed about going to the dentist to the point where it’s been way too long and I’m even more stressed and embarrassed about it which makes it even harder to go. I also haven’t had a dentist in Portland that I’ve really liked. Timber Dental immediately put me at ease. Everyone was super helpful and friendly and efficient! I had a small cavity and they actually just filled it at the same appointment. Will definitely be recommending their practice to others!

I really love the Timber Dental crew and can’t sing their praises enough. They’re all so friendly and warm, and go out their way to make patients feel comfortable. I myself have a fear of needles and this is the first dental office I’ve been too that took the time to slowly and painlessly administer the Novocain shots and took breaks when I needed them, all which took much longer than normal for them. Really can’t thank these people enough! Best dentist I’ve ever been to.

I can't say enough awesome things about Timber Dental - the whole office feels like a happy family, I'm treated like a friend rather than a patient, they seem to be on the cutting edge of dental tech, and all of the little details in the office are clearly well thought through to maximize the customer experience. They even went above and beyond making sure my little toddler was looked after when it was time for her to wait while my teeth got cleaned. Thanks Timber!

Excellent experience at this clinic. My Son has anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. They were aware of this and made sure to make him feel as comfortable as possible. My Son had no hesitation when he had to return for a filing. They were very accommodating when it came to payment options since we currently don't have dental insurance.

I recently moved to Portland and I hadn’t been to the dentist in probably ten years. I found Timber Dental through my insurance and decided to book an appointment at the NE location because it was so close and I could ride my bike there from my home.

The staff at Timber Dental is incredibly welcoming and friendly. My dental assistant was very communicative during every step and educated me on what she was doing, which I appreciated a lot, especially for this being the first time I’d been to the dentist in a long time.

My dentist, Dr. Garcia, was super nice and also educated me on all my options. He was very honest and direct about what to expect. I appreciate that he didn’t try to pressure me into spending a bunch of money on dental work that I didn’t necessarily need at the moment.

I found that their pricing is totally reasonable, with or without insurance. I also felt very safe and clean in their office with regards to Covid-19. Mask is required and they sanitize everything after use as well as plenty of hand sanitizer offered. I am happy I chose Timber Dental and recommend them to anyone new to Portland or looking for a new Dentist.

Great experience! Honestly, I learned more about my oral hygiene at my first appointment here than I have anywhere else. The staff was very informative, and in a completely non-demeaning way – I never felt dumb or gross for any poor habits I had, but they truly just like educating and sharing their profession with their patients. Excited to see my improvement on my next visit!
