West Plano Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

The technology is superb and the staff is very friendly and informative. I just feel that their prices are nothing short of outrageous for basic dental services. I was quoted almost $2,000 for a deep scale cleaning and was told that I needed treatments that a subsequent visit to my regular dentist revealed were overstated at the very least. Prospective patients beware!!!

They didn’t know how to numb you and I didn’t have sensitivity issues on the 4 teeth they worked on until after they worked on them. The first time they had to reschedule me because all for that reason so they could use nitrous oxide and when they did reschedule me the dental assistant was the third person in there because she had to bring another dentist in there so she could be the assistant. When I did return for my cleaning she couldn’t figure out the sensitivity issue and told me to switch to sensidyne tooth paste which didn’t do anything. However, I will say that Suzanne the dental hygienist and Shelby the dental assistant were great and that is the downside of me not coming back and that is why I am given this place two stars instead of one.

Worst Dentist I ever had in my lifetime. Mitra Parto and her team really did a very bad job on my root canal and crown. The crown just cracked and came off in almost a years time, which they manufacture in their office and is super expensive. I had to pay over a $1000 out of pocket after my insurance to just find out that it was not at all worth it.

When I questioned her about the quality, and asked her to fix it back or provide a new one, she simply sent her assistant to tell me that I need to leave because they can't help me. This was EXTREMELY unprofessional attitude I would expect from any doctor.

The reason I am writing this review, is to make all of you beware that PLEASE DO NOT GET ANY CROWNS done on your teeth through this dentist. They are very unprofessional and provide very bad customer service.

Honestly the place doesn't even deserve one star. I was here for orthodontics treatment but had other services done such as a dental cleaning. The Asian hygienist was the worst. Rude and very hostile with her cleaning "skills". If I made the slightest complain about the way she was cleaning my teeth she would stop and stare at me as if I was the one doing the job wrong. The general dentist was a liar. She said I needed three fillings due and when I decided to get my teeth checked at another place here in Richardson, Texas and another one in Mexico they BOTH denied it. They reassured me that it was not true and that I did not even have any cavities to began with! Clearly just trying to get money out of the patients. So of course, I did not go with her suggestion even if she insisted. I questioned the billing clerk Mandy about several transactions that were done that were not adding up to the calculations I made, and she stated, "she did not know how the system worked, what mattered was that it all added up to the total" OK? I still want to know why money is still being taken out though LOL... on top of that she told me weeks LATER after the initiation of my treatment that my insurance did not cover it because they insurance was filed wrong... and that "out of courtesy they were gonna keep it at the price they stated at first"... However, transactions were made in and out of my bank account and they were so quick to take the money out but when I requested a refund they could not give it to me because "it all added up". Lastly, the orthodontics treatment was by far the the worst experience out of everything else. I had braces for about 2 years if not longer when they assured it was gonna be for about 1 year and a half. I encountered an altercation with the orthodontist when I confronted him about how I did not like the treatment. The review could be longer but I am sure you get the point. After all the time and money wasted, my teeth literally were back to how they started. Seriously? What a joke! I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Wife and I are long time patients and have had many procedures. All the staff members are top notch. Friendliest people ever - makes you happy to go see them! State of the art equipment too. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Partow and ALL the staff were so, so helpful to me from beginning to end. They understood my fears coming in for the first time in four years, and were gentle, incredibly thorough, and so genuinely empathetic. They helped me strategize a plan going forward and were so patient when working with me on costs going forward. I could not recommend them more highly.

My daughter and I have been coming to West Plano Modern Dentistry for several years. Dr. Partow and her staff have not only been gracious and kind to the both of us, but they are so careful with my sensitive teeth! They also work around my work schedule for my daughters ortho appointments. I love them all and we will be continuing our dental journey with them...because I have a lot of work that needs to be done!

I have never like going to the dentist, but they make it comfortable and fun here. They never make me feel embarrassed or guilty for not having perfect teeth. They treat me like an individual and make the procedures seem easy and ordinary. I need several things done and they were totally cool with me doing some of it at a time, unlike other places who want all or nothing. I have finally found a family dentist!!!! now I can make sure to go regularly

Great experience. The reception area is clean and inviting. All the staff starting from receptionists to dentists are great, friendly and helpful. They answer any questions with great detail. 10/10 recommend.

I’m so pleased with West Plano Dentistry!! The moment i entered the establishment I felt welcomed. Thank you Mitra and Jess for taking me care of me and walking me through the process while y’all were cleaning! Mitra I appreciate your patience and kept me 😂...Huge shout out to Alexis for going over the ins and outs with my insurance and answering all my questions! If you are thinking about trying a new dentist I highly recommend you guys rock!!
